Հոլանդացի հայտնի նկարիչ Վինսենտ Վան Գոգի՝ Փարիզի փողոցային տեսարանը պատկերող կտավն առաջին անգամ կցուցադրվի հանրությանը, գրում է Reuters-ը՝ հավելելով, որ նկարը գրեթե մեկ տասնամյակ գտնվել է ֆրանսիական ընտանիքի մասնավոր հավաքածուում։

Վան Գոգը կտավը վրձնել է 1887 թվականին, երբ եղբոր՝ Թեոյի հետ ապրել է Ֆրանսիայի մայրաքաղաքում․ կտավն աճուրդի կհանվի հաջորդ ամիս։

Ինչպես նշում է գործակալությունը, նախքան աճուրդը՝ Sotheby's աճուրդի տունը այն կցուցադրի Ամստերդամի, Հոնկոնգի և Փարիզի իր սրահներում․ աճուրդի տունը արվեստի գործը գնահատել է 5-8 մլն եվրո (6-9 մլն դոլար):

Կտավը, որը վերնագրված է «Փողոցային տեսարան Մոնմարտրում», պատկերում է թևանցուկ քայլող կնոջ և տղամարդու, նրանց հետևում՝ ցանկապատ և հողմաղաց։

Աճուրդի տունը նշել է՝ կտավը, որը բազմիցս ցուցադրվել է ամսագրերում և գրքերում, առաջին անգամ է ցուցադրվելու հանրությանը։

Նշենք, որ Վան Գոգը Փարիզ է ժամանել 1886 թվականին։ Նա քաղաքը լքել է 1888 թվականին՝ ասելով, որ հոգնել է փարիզյան կյանքի տենդագին տեմպից։ Նա տեղափոխվել է Ֆրանսիայի հարավ։ Ավելի ուշ նկարիչը ինքնասպան է եղել և մահացել 1890 թվականի հուլիսի 29-ին։
