London Chess Classic. Լեւոն Արոնյանը գրավեց չորրորդ տեղը

Հայկական շախմատի առաջատար Լեւոն Արոնյանը ոչ ոքիով ավարտեց Լոնդոնում ավարտին մոտեցող London Chess Classic մրցաշարը, որի վերջին տուրում միավորը կիսեց ֆրանսիացի Մաքսիմ Վաշյե-Լագրավի հետ: Հայ գրոսմայստերը խաղում էր սպիտակներով, իսկ պարտիան ավարտվեց 34-րդ քայլում:
Լեւոն Արոնյանը մրցաշարն ավարտեց 5 միավորով եւ գրավեց չորրորդ տեղը: 1-3-րդ տեղերը բաժանեցին աշխարհի չեմպիոն Մագնուս Կարլսենը, Մաքսիմ Վաշյե-Լագրավը եւ հոլանդացի Անիշ Գիրին, որոնք մրցաշարն ավարտեցին 5.5-ական միավորով: Հաղթողի անունը հայտնի կդառնա քիչ անց:
9 տուրերում Արոնյանը պարտություն չկրեց, 8 պարտիա ավարտեց ոչ ոքի եւ միակ հաղթանակը տարավ բուլղարացի Վեսելին Տոպալովի նկատմամբ:
