POLITICS«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
2021-ի մարտի 1-ը Երեւանը հերթական անգամ դիմավորում է լարված մթնոլորտում: 13 տարի առաջ՝ 2008 թվականին եւս, ինչպես այս օրերին, Հայաստանում ու մասնավորապես մայրաքաղաք Երեւանում հասարակությունը կրկին երկբեւեռ է։ Մարդիկ իշխանափոխության պահանջով գիշերում են փողոցում, վառարաններով փորձում տաքանալ այս ցուրտ եղանակին:
Միակ տարբերությունը թերեւս այն է, որ ցուցարարների թվում այլեւս Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը չկա, ինչպես 13 տարի առաջ էր, եւ այսօր մարդիկ պահանջում են ՀՀ պարտված վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հրաժարականը:
13 տարի առաջ դժվար էր պատկերացնել, որ ընդդիմությունն այսօր իշխանություն կդառնա: Թվում է, թե 13 տարի առաջ տեղի ունեցած դեպքերից պետք է թե՛ այն ժամանակվա իշխանությունները, թե՛ այն ժամանակվա ընդդիմությունը, որն այժմ իշխանություն է, դասեր քաղեին։ Պարզվում է, սակայն, ոչ մի կողմն էլ դաս չի քաղել տեղի ունեցած արյունալի դեպքերից, երբ Երեւանի կենտրոնում զոհվեց 10 քաղաքացի, հարյուրավորներ վիրավորվեցին, ինչպես նաեւ ապօրինի հետապնդումների եւ դատավճիռների ենթարկվեցին 50 անձինք:
Մեկ օրից լրանում է 2008 թվականի մարտի 1-ի դեպքերի 13 տարին: Այս տարիների ընթացքում այդպես էլ չբացահայտվեց, թե կոնկրետ ովքեր են 10 տարի առաջ Երեւանի կենտրոնում գնդակահարել 10 հոգու, դրա փոխարեն սահմանադրական կարգը տապալելու եւ դրան օժանդակելու մեղադրանքներ առաջադրվեցին նախկին պաշտոնյաներից մի քանիսին:
