Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է Մոլորակն ուսումնասիրող գիտությունների ինստիտուտ – սեյսմիկ մոնիտորինգի ազգայի կենտրոնը, երկրաշարժը տեղի է ունեցել Ղազբեգի ավանի մոտ, Բլոդի գյուղից 18 կմ հեռավորության վրա:
Նրանց փոխանցմամբ, երկրաշարժի ուժգնությունը կազմել է 3.2 մագնիտուդ:
