Մարտի 1-ին ուժի մեջ է մտել Հայաստան-Եվրամիություն համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության համաձայնագիրը: Այդ համաձայնագիրը ենթադրում է համագործակցություն արդարադատության, անվտանգության, կրթության, մշակույթի և այլ ոլորտներում։ Այս օրերի ներքաղաքական խժդժությունների մեջ այս փաստն աննկատ անցավ։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հրապարակում էր հանրահավաք անում, ընդդիմությունը Բաղրամյան փողոցում։

Քաղաքական ուժերից միայն «Հայոց Արծիվներ. Միասնական Հայաստան» կուսակցության առաջնորդ Խաչիկ Ասրյանը հանդես եկավ հստակ դիրքորոշմամբ՝ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունից պահանջելով անհապաղ չեղարկել Եվրամիության հետ չարիք դառնալիք այդ համաձայնագիրը, եթե ոչ ապա այդ համաձայնագիրը կչեղարկի Հայաստանի հաջորդ՝ Ազգային-Քրիստոնյա իշխանությունը՝ ի դեմս «Հայոց Արծիվներ. Միասնական Հայաստան» կուսակցության: Խաչիկ Ասրյանը համոզված է, որ Հայաստանն ու Հայ ժողովուրդն իրենց մաշկի վրա շատ վաղուց զգացել են եվրոպական չափանիշների կործանարար ազդեցությունը, հետևաբար պետք է մերժել եվրոպական կոչվող այլասերված բարքերը, որոնց միակ նպատակը մեր ազգային ինքնության ոչնչացումն ու Հայ տեսակի վերացումն է:

«Հայոց Արծիվների» առաջնորդը նաև համոզված է, որ Հայ ժողովուրդը դեռ վաղուց է կայացրել քաղաքակրթական իր ընտրությունը, հայտարարելով, որ մենք, մեր մշակույթով, ավանդույթներով և արժեքներով, միասնական ու հոգեհարազատ ենք բարեկամ և ռազմավարական միակ դաշնակից Ռուսաստանի և ռուս ժողովրդի հետ:
