POLITICS«Հրապարակ» թերթը գրում է. «ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետ Օնիկ Գասպարյանն իր պաշտոնավարման հարցով շուրջ մեկ շաբաթ է՝ ակտիվ քննարկումներ է անում իրավաբանների հետ, որոնք վստահեցրել են, որ օրենսդրությունն իր օգտին է՝ հնարավորություն կա, անկախ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի քայլերից, երկարաձգել իր պաշտոնավարումը, եւ մարտի 9-ից հետո էլ նա կարող է մնալ ԳՇ պետի պաշտոնում։
Չի բացառվում, որ Գասպարյանը եւս դիմի վարչական դատարան։ Թե ինչ հայցով՝ պարզ կդառնա այսօր։ Սակայն տեղեկացանք, որ նա բազմաթիվ հանդիպումներ է ունեցել այլ ոլորտների ներկայացուցիչների հետ եւս եւ պնդել է իր վճռականության մասին՝ ասելով, որ զիջումների գնացողը լինելու է ոչ թե ինքը, այլ՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։
ԳՇ-ում տարբեր սցենարներ են մտածում, որոնցով մեծացնելու են ճնշումը քաղաքական իշխանության վրա եւ ստիպելու են, որ հեռանան։ Մեզ ասացին, որ մինչեւ հայտնի հայտարարությունը հրապարակելը Օնիկ Գասպարյանը Փաշինյանի հետ երկար զրույց է ունեցել, հորդորել է՝ մինչեւ վերջ ավերակների չվերածել երկիրը եւ բարի կամք դրսեւորել ու հեռանալ։
Իսկ նախկին եւ ներկա սպաների հետ հանդիպումներին էլ վստահեցրել է, որ քաղաքական հետաքրքրություններ չունի՝ համազգեստի եւ ուսադիրի պատիվը, բանակը փրկելու հարցն է, եւ նման հայտարարության իրենց դրդել է քաղաքական ղեկավարությունը՝ պարտությունը կոտրելով բանակի գլխին եւ մաս-մաս հանձնելով երկիրը։
Մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ, Օնիկ Գասպարյանին հեռացնելն անգամ հարցի լուծում չէ, քանի որ բանակի բարձրաստիճան զինվորականների մեծ մասը, բանակային կորպուսի ղեկավարներն ու հրամանատարները Գասպարյանին ասել են՝ եթե ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետին պաշտոնանկ անեն, կհետեւեն նրան։ Նրանք անգամ ցանկացել են նոր հայտարարությամբ իրենց աջակցությունը հայտնել, սակայն Օնիկ Գասպարյանը թույլ չի տվել։
Իսկ հայտարարությունը չստորագրած ԳՇ 3-4 անդամն էլ, ըստ մեր աղբյուրի, Գասպարյանի հորդորով չեն ստորագրել՝ նրանց նկատմամբ քրեական գործեր կան հարուցված, Գասպարյանը կանխատեսել է, որ այդ փաստը կշահարկվի, որ ինքնապաշտպանությունից դրդված են հրաժարական պահանջում։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ու Վաղարշակ Հարությունյանը վերջին օրերին փորձել են լեզու գտնել տարբեր զինվորականների հետ, սակայն՝ ապարդյուն»:
