Այսօր՝ մարտի 10-ին, ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը միջնորդություն է ներկայացրել նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանին Զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի պետի պաշտոնում Արտակ Դավթյանին նշանակելու համար:

Արտակ Մաթևոսի Դավթյանը ծնվել է 1970 թ., Բամբակաշատ գյուղում:

Կրթություն

  • Ավարտել է գյուղի միջնակարգ դպրոցը, ապա Մոսկվայի բարձրագույն ռազմական ուսումնարանը։
  • 1995 թվականին ընդունվել և 1998 թվականին ոսկե մեդալով ավարտել է Մոսկվայի Ֆրունզեի անվան ռազմական ակադեմիան։
  • Վերապատրաստվել է ՌԴ ԶՈՒ Գլխավոր շտաբի ռազմական ակադեմիայում։

Զինվորական ծառայություն

  • 1990 թվականից մասնակցել է Շահումյանի, Զանգեզուրի և Հորադիսի մատույցներում մղվող բոլոր մարտական գործողություններին։ Կռվել է Շահումյանում՝ Շահեն Մեղրյանի հայդուկային ջոկատում։ Այնուհետև Լուսակերտի բրիգադով եղել է Մեղրիում, ապա Ղափանում` պաշտպանելով Եղվարդ և Ագարակ գյուղերը։ Այնուհետև մասնակցել է Սրաշենի ազատագրմանը և Տրիդցատկա, Յըմըզլու, Յուխարի ադրբեջանական գյուղերի կրակակետերի ոչնչացմանը։
  • 1998 թվականից – բանակային կորպուսի շտաբի պետ, Նոյեմբերյանի գնդի հրամանատար, 5-րդ բանակային կորպուսի շտաբի պետ։
  • 2007 թվականի հուլիսի 20-ից 2009 թվականի հունվարի 31-ը – Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի օպերատիվ վարչության պետ-գլխավոր շտաբի պետի տեղակալ։
  • 2009 թվականի հունվարի 31-ին ՀՀ Նախագահի հրամանագրով նշանակվել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի օպերատիվ վարչության պետ` ազատվելով Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի օպերատիվ վարչության պետ-գլխավոր շտաբի պետի տեղակալի պաշտոնից:
  • 2017 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 28-ին ՀՀ Նախագահի հրամանագրով նշանակվել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության նախարարության հինգերորդ բանակային կորպուսի հրամանատար` ազատվելով Հայաստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի օպերատիվ վարչության պետի պաշտոնից։
  • 2018 թվականի մայիսի 24-ից մինչև 2020 թվականի հունիսի 8-ը եղել է ՀՀ ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի պետ։
  • 2020 թվականի հուլիսի 16-ին ՀՀ վարչապետի որոշմամբ նշանակվել է ՀՀ ԲՏԱՆ ռազմարդյունաբերության կոմիտեի նախագահ։
  • 2020 թվականի նոյեմբերի 11-ին ազատվել է զբաղեցրած պաշտոնից։
