POLITICS«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Չնայած փետրվարի 25-ից Հայաստանը փոթորկվեց գլխավոր շտաբի արդեն նախկին պետ Օնիկ Գասպարյանի եւ 40 բարձրաստիճան զինվորականների հայտարարությունից, որով նրանք պահանջում էին ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հրաժարականը, սակայն դրանից 13 օր անց Փաշինյանին հաջողվեց խորհրդակցություն անցկացնել բարձրաստիճան զինվորականների մասնակցությամբ եւ հենց այդ ժամանակ էլ ներկայացնել շտաբի պետի նոր թեկնածուին:
Փաշինյանը չսպասեց, որ ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը Արտակ Դավթյանին գլխավոր շտաբի պետ նշանակեր կամ մերժեր այդ միջնորդությունը եռօրյա ժամկետում. նա ներկայացրեց ԳՇ պետի իր թեկնածուին, բայց առայժմ՝ մինչ նախագահի կողմից նրան նշանակելը կամ մերժելը, ՀՀ ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի պետի պարտականությունները ժամանակավորապես կկատարի գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Ստեփան Գալստյանը, քանի որ առաջին տեղակալ Տիրան Խաչատրյանն ազատված է պաշտոնից, թեեւ դատարանում վիճարկում է հրամանագիրը:
Նկատենք, որ Ստեփան Գալստյանը ՀՀ ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի այն 40 զինվորականներից մեկն է, ովքեր ստորագրել էին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հրաժարականի պահանջի տակ, բայց սա չի խանգարել, որ հենց նա երեկ դիմավորեր վարչապետին եւ զեկուցեր, որ անձնակազմը պատրաստ է խորհրդակցության:
Իսկ ո՞վ է բանակից գնացած, նորից հետ եկած Արտակ Դավթյանը. մարդ, որին պրոֆեսիոնալ զինվորականները բազմիցս հրապարակավ համարել են ամենաանպատրաստ գեներալ, ապաշնորհ ռազմական գործիչ: Բայց քանի որ Արտակ Դավթյանը «Մարտի 1»-ի գործով ցանկալի ցուցմունքներ է տվել ՀՔԾ-ում, դրա դիմաց պարգեւ է ստանում` երկրորդ անգամ ԳՇ պետի պաշտոնը ստանձնելով: Առաջին անգամ ազատվեց աշխատանքից, քանի որ կորոնավիրուսի բռնկուն շրջանում թաքուն որդու հարսանիքն էր արել:
