ՆԱՏՕ-ին Թուրքիայի անդամակցությունը խոչընդոտում է Մոսկվայի և Անկարայի համատեղ աշխատանքին, բայց այն կարելի է անվանել արդյունավետ, հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար Սերգեյ Շոյգուն ղազախական tengrinews.kz պորտալին տված հարցազրույցում:

«Եթե մենք խոսում ենք Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերությունների մասին, մենք ունենք շատ բարդ, շատ դժվար, բայց շատ արդյունավետ աշխատանք: Համագործակցություն: Դժվար է, քանի որ դա խանգարում և խոչընդոտում է այն փաստը, որ Թուրքիան ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ է: Ես կասեի՝ նույնիսկ եզակի փորձ, երբ մի երկիրը ՆԱՏՕ-ում է, մեկ այլ երկիր ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ չէ: Նրանք գտնում են ընդհանուր լեզու, իրականացնում են համատեղ աշխատանք և համատեղ գործողություններ, գտնում են փոխզիջումներ, որտեղ թվում է, որ դա անհնար է: Բայց մենք լուծումներ ենք գտնում», - ասել է Շոյգուն:

«Վերջին աշխատանքը, իհարկե, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղն է: Դա, այսպես ասած, յուրատեսակ շատ բարդ գործողություն է: Հենց այսպես կուզեի անվանել այն և ոչ մի կերպ այլ: Քանի որ դրանում ներգրավված էին մեծ քանակությամբ տարրեր, փաստեր և դրդապատճառներ: Ի վերջո, համաձայնեք, որ երբ երկու եղբայրական ժողովուրդներ, երկու մերձավոր հարևաններ, նրանք, ում հետ մենք ապրում էինք, պատերազմում են միմյանց հետ, ես կկրկնվեմ, մենք կշարունակենք ապրել խաղաղության, ներդաշնակության և բարեկամության մեջ», - ընդգծել է Շոյգուն:

Շոյգուն ասել է, որ Ռուսաստանը և Թուրքիան շարունակում են համատեղ պարեկությունը Սիրիայի հյուսիս-արևելքում:
