«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Այսօր կայանալիք ԱԺ արտահերթ նիստի օրակարգում ընդգրկված հարցը խնդրել է հրատապ անցկացնել ԲԴԽ անդամ Գագիկ Ջհանգիրյանը:

Մասնավորապես, օրակարգում «Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դատական օրենսգիրք» սահմանադրական օրենքում փոփոխություններ կատարելու մասին նախագծերի փաթեթն է, որը քննարկվելու է առանց գլխադասային հանձնաժողովի եզրակացության, ապա նաև երկրորդ ընթերցմամբ: Նախագծերի փաթեթով առաջարկվում է, որ Բարձրագույն դատական խորհրդին օժտեն դատարանների բնականոն գործունեությունն ապահովելու լիազորությամբ, և ԲԴԽ-ն իրավունք ունենա ընդունելու նորմատիվ իրավական ակտեր:

Այսինքն՝ այս նախագծով իրականում ավելանալու են ԲԴԽ լիազորությունները: Եվ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը տեղեկացավ, որ ԲԴԽ նորընտիր անդամ Գագիկ Ջհանգիրյանն է այսպիսի փոփոխությունների ցանկություն հայտնել, որպեսզի կառույցի լիազորություններն ավելանան: Բանն այն է, որ նա դեռ չի կորցնում իր հույսը ԲԴԽ նախագահ դառնալու և այդ պատճառով էլ ցանկանում է այդ կառույցին նոր լիազորություններով օժտել:

Հետաքրքիր է, որ «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցությունը որոշել է այս հարցը քննարկել առանց գլխադասային հանձնաժողովի եզրակացության և առանց նախնական քննարկման, այնինչ մարտի 23-ին գումարվելու է ԱԺ հերթական նիստ, այս նախագիծը կարող էին քննարկել հենց այդ նստաշրջանում, սակայն իշխող ուժը որոշել է դրա համար արտահերթ նիստ գումարել՝ հաշվի չառնելով հրատապ մյուս նախագծերը:
