SOCIETY«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «ArmLur.am-ի տեղեկություններով՝ դերասան Հովհաննես Ազոյանի սկանդալային հայտարարությունից հետո իրավապահները գործի են անցել: Մասնավորապես, մեզ հասած տեղեկությունների համաձայն՝ նրանք գտել են տարիներ առաջ Հովհաննես Ազոյանի բանակում չծառայելու մասով հարուցված քրեական գործը, որն էլ տարիներ առաջ կարճել էին:
Բանն այն է, որ իրավապահները տարիներ առաջ դերասանի՝ բանակում չծառայելու մեջ որոշակի ապօրինի տարրեր են հայտնաբերել և հարուցել են քրեական գործ, սակայն ավելի ուշ իրավապահ համակարգում որոշել են քրեական գործը կարճել՝ հաշվի առնելով, որ նա դերասան է և ներկայացնում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը:
