Բրիտանացի նկարիչ Սաշա Ջաֆրիի հեղինակած աշխարհի ամենամեծ կտավը՝ «Մարդկության ճանապարհորդությունը» (The Journey of Humanity), Դուբայի աճուրդում վաճառվել է ավելի քան 62 միլիոն դոլարով, հաղորդում է Khaleej Times-ը:

Նշվում է, որ նկարիչը 7 ամիս շարունակ Դուբայի Ատլանտիս հյուրանոցում աշխատել է երկու ֆուտբոլային խաղադաշտի տարածքի մեծությամբ կտավի ստեղծման վրա: Սկզբնապես ենթադրվում էր, որ կտավը կբաժանվի 70 մասի և տարբեր երկրներում վեց աճուրդներում կվաճառվի մոտ 30 միլիոն դոլարով: Սակայն այն վաճառվել է մեկ օրում և ամբողջովին:

Ջաֆրին խոստացել է, որ կտավի վաճառքից ստացված հասույթը կտրամադրի ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ին, ՅՈՒՆԻՍԵՖ-ին և այլ բարեգործական ծրագրերին, որոնք զբաղվում են երեխաների իրավունքների պաշտպանությամբ: 

«Հուսով ենք, որ կփրկենք 200 միլիոն երեխաների կյանք և հնարավորություն կտանք նրանց փոխել աշխարհը ... Մենք ուզում ենք, որ յուրաքանչյուր երեխա հնարավորություն ունենա կրթություն ստանալ համացանցի միջոցով: Մեր նպատակն է համացանցը հասանելի դարձնել այն երեխաների համար, որոնք ապրում են ամենաաղքատ երկրներում»,- ասել է նկարիչը:

Մինչ վաճառքի պահը կտավը 1 ամիս շարունակ ցուցադրվում էր հյուրանոցում: Նկարն աճուրդում գնել է կրիպտոարժույթի ընկերության ղեկավար Անդրե Աբդուն:
