«Վերջին օրերին, ինչպես պարբերաբար լինում է, Սիրիայում կրկին շիկացել է իրավիճակը: Ռուսաստանի աջակցությունը վայելող սիրիական կառավարական ուժերը հրթիռային հարվածներ էին հասցրել Թուրքիայի վերահսկողության տակ գտնվող գրոհայինների նավթի արտահանման բազային: Թուրքիան մի քանի անգամ հրապարակային կոչով դիմեց Ռուսաստանին, որպեսզի զսպի Ասադին: Դրան հետևեց Թուրքիայի օդուժի հարձակումը Սիրիայի Այն Իսայի շրջանի Սայդա գյուղի մերձակայքում տեղակայված սիրիական դեմոկրատական ուժերի մաս կազմող քրդական աշխարհազորի դիրքերի վրա:
Եթե Սիրիայի ռուս-թուրքական ձևաչափում արձանագրվում են նման լարումներ և շիկացումներ, ապա օրինաչափորեն պետք է նույն սցենարով զարգացումների ռիսկերը բարձր գնահատվեն նաև Արցախի դեպքում: Այսպիսով, եթե Սիրիայում ռուս-թուրքական հավասարակշռության ձևաչափը կարող է ճաքեր տալ, հետևաբար, Հայաստանը «դատապարտված» է մեծ արագությամբ արդիականացնելու իր անվտանգության համակարգը՝ այն նորագույն սպառազինությամբ հագեցնելով և Ռուսաստանի հետ միասին ուժեղացնելով համատեղ զինված ուժերի համալիրը: Այն դեպքում, երբ Ադրբեջանի բանակը փաստացի սերտաճում է թուրքականի հետ, դրան հակազդելու ճանապարհին այլընտրանք չկա»»,-գրում է թերթը:
