Երեկ, ժամը 13:30-ի սահմաններում Ասկերանի շրջանի Սարուշեն-Կարմիր գյուղ ճանապարհահատվածին միջադեպ է տեղի ունեցել հայերի և ադրբեջանցիների միջև:

Ռուսական խաղաղապահ ուժերի ուղեկցությամբ ընթացող ադրբեջանական ավտոշարասյան թափքից, ադրբեջանցի զինծառայողները քարերով հարվածներ են հասցրել նույն ճանապարհով ընթացող հայկական մեքենաների վրա, ինչի հետևանքով վնասվել է Լենտրուշ Բաբայանի վարած ՎԱԶ 21-07 մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայի դիմապակին:

Միջադեպից հետո Լ.Բաբայանը և նույն ճանապարհով ընթացող մեկ այլ վարորդ փակել են միջշրջանային ճանապարհը, կանգնեցրել շարասյունը և բացատրություն պահանջել ռուս խաղաղապահներից ինչպես նաև ադրբեջանցի պատասխանատու սպայից:

Ըստ Լ.Բաբայանի, ադրբեջանցի սպան, որը ռուսաց լեզվով պատշաճ չէր հաղորդակցվում, լուսանկարել է մեքենան, խոստացել, որ անպայման կզեկուցի իրենց վերադասին, իսկ ռուս ուղեկցողները միջադեպի համար ներողություն են խնդրել, նշել, որ վնասը կփոխհատուցվի:

Դեպքի բոլոր մանրամասները պարզելու համար, տուժողը հարցաքննվել է Ոստիկանության Ասկերանի շրջանային բաժնում: Մեքենայի լուսանկարները, ինչպես նաև ռուսերեն թարգմանությամբ բացատրությունը ներքին գործերի նախարար Կարեն Սարգսյանն արդեն փոխանցել է գեներալ Մուրադովին:

Խաղաղապահ զորակազմն այս հարցով արդեն զբաղվում է: Ըստ ռուսական կողմի, խնդիրը ոչ միայն վնասի փոխհատուցումն է, այլ, այսուհետ նմանօրինակ դեպքերի բացառումը:
