ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ն հրապարակել է մամուլի խոսնակի պատասխանը լրատվականների հարցին:

Հարց. Ադրբեջանի նախագահականը և արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունը հանդես են եկել Զորավոր Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցու ավերման մասին «արդարացումներով»: Ինչպե՞ս կմեկնաբանեք դա:

Պատասխան. Ադրբեջանական կողմը հաստատեց Մեխակավան (Ջեբրայիլ) բնակավայրի Զորավոր Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցու հիմնահատակ ավերման միտումնավոր և ծրագրված բնույթը, և որ դա իրականացվել է Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների որոշման արդյունքում:

Ադրբեջանական կողմի բոլոր փորձերը՝ արդարացնելու պաշտամունքի վայրի բարբարոսական ոչնչացումը մտահոգիչ և դատապարտելի են:

Հատկանշական է, որ միաժամանակ ադրբեջանական կողմը քար լռություն է պահպանում Արցախի Հանրապետության Շուշի քաղաքի ավելի քան 200 տարվա պատմություն ունեցող Սուրբ Հովհաննես Մկրտիչ եկեղեցու (Կանաչ ժամ) եկեղեցու ավերման մեղադրանքների և փաստերի վերաբերյալ՝ հավանաբար չգտնելով այս հերթական բարբարոսության «արդարացման» որևէ, անգամ՝ մտացածին հիմնավորում:

Մեկ անգամ ևս ընդգծում ենք, որ միջազգային հանրությունը, նախևառաջ` ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները և համանախագահ երկրները, ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ն պետք է անհապաղ միջամտեն հայկական պատմամշակութային ժառանգությունը պահպանելու համար:
