«Ուղիղ 6 ամիս առաջ այս օրը սկսվեց պատերազմը....
Արդեն կես տարի.. ո՞նց անցավ, ե՞րբ անցավ՝ այդպես էլ չհասկացանք.... Ուղիղ 6 ամիս է մեր կյանքն էլ առաջվանը չէ... Ուղիղ 6 ամիս է մեր նյարդերն էլ առաջվանը չեն....Մենք քնում ենք, վեր կենում, խանութներ գնում, հաց ուտում, բայց մեր ուղեղը այդպես էլ չի անջատվում....Գրեթե բոլորիս մտքին միայն մեկ բան է՝ պատերազմը...
Ու դա է պատճառը, որ չհասկացանք, թե ինչպես անցավ ձմեռը, ինչպես է անցնում գարունը...
Ու հենց այսօր՝ պատերազմի սկզբից կես տարի անց, անսովոր ձյուն ա գալիս... Ձյուն ա գալիս՝ մաքրելու համար ջուր դարձած արյունը, մեկ օրում հազարավոր տղերքի մահը ուրացածների պղծությունը....Ու այդպես էլ ոչ մի դավաճան, ոչ մի պատասխանատուի չտեսանք պատժված, որոնք հրետանավորին ականջակալ, բռոնի ժիլետ և այլ հասանելիք պարագաները չէին տվել այն հրամանատարները, որոնք զորքին մենակ էին թողոլ ու էդպես շատ բաներ»։
