Մամուլում հրապարակումներ են եղել, որ ապրիլի 7-ին սպասվում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի այցը Մոսկվա, որտեղ նա կհանդիպի ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ։ Կառավարության լրատվականից այցի վերաբերյալ դեռևս որևէ հստակ բան չեն ասում: Ասում են՝ բոլոր այցերի վերաբերյալ նախապես հայտարարվում է, հենց լինի, կհայտարարենք։ Ամեն դեպքում, նախնական տեղեկությամբ՝ այցը տեղի կունենա ապրիլի 7-8-ին։ Օրերս Մոսկվայից վերադարձած «Միասնություն» շարժման ղեկավար Արման Վարդանյանը, հղում անելով մոսկովյան իր աղբյուրներին, ասաց՝ գիտի, թե ինչ նպատակով է Փաշինյանը գնում Պուտինի մոտ։ «Ըստ իմ տեղեկությունների, քանի որ վերջերս եմ եկել Մոսկվայից, էնտեղ իմ հանդիպումների արդյունքում որոշակի ինֆորմացիա ստացա կոնկրետ այն օրակարգի վերաբերյալ, որը առաջ է քաշել հայկական կողմը։ Առաջինը՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Վլադիմիր Պուտինից ցանկանում է երաշխիքներ ստանալ իր անվտանգության համար, քանի որ հասկանում է՝ հունիսի 20-ին կայանալիք ընտրություններին, եթե դրանք կայանան, ինքը գրեթե շանս չունի վերարտադրվելու, ուստի նա, հասկանալով ՌԴ նախագահի հնարավորությունը՝ իրեն անվտանգության երաշխիքներ տալու, խնդրելու է, որպեսզի Պուտինն իրեն տա այդ անվտանգության երաշխիքները»,-ասաց Արման Վարդանյանը։
Երկրորդ հարցը, որը, ըստ Վարդանյանի, Փաշինյանի մոսկովյան օրակարգում է, լինելու է այն, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նախընտրական այս շրջանում փորձելու է ՌԴ նախագահի միջոցով լուծել հայ գերիների վերադարձի հարցը, որ դա հետո ծախի հասարակության վրա՝ որպես նախընտրական լավություն։ «Շատ ցավալի բան եմ ասում, բայց, ըստ որոշ աղբյուրների տրամադրած տեղեկության, ինքն ամեն ինչ անելու է, որպեսզի մինչև ընտրությունները ամբողջովին լուծվի գերիների հարցը, որը իրեն հնարավորություն կտա՝ բարձրացնելու իր վարկանիշը։ Մի կողմից, իհարկե, մեր եղբայրների հարցի լուծումը շատ կարևոր է մեզ համար, և մենք հենց դրա համար ենք հիմա պայքարում, բայց մյուս կողմից, իհարկե, դա օգտագործել անձական ռեյտինգը բարձրացնելու համար, բարոյական նորմերից շատ հեռու մոտեցում է։ Եվ եթե դա հնարավոր էր անել ավելի շուտ, անբարոյականություն է՝ սպասել, որպեսզի անես ընտրությունների շեմին»,-կարծում է Վարդանյանը։
