«Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության նախագահ Արա Աբրահամյա­նը, ինչպես հայտնի է, օրերս հայտարարել է, որ պատրաստվում է ակտիվ մասնակցել Հայաստանում արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին, սակայն չի նշել, թե ինչ ձևաչափով է պատրաստվում մասնակցել:

Արդյոք նա անձա՞մբ է իր թեկնածությունը դնելու, թե որևէ քաղաքական ուժի է աջակցելու: Այս ֆոնին լուրեր են տարածվում, որ Արա Աբրահամյանը պատրաստվում է սատարել «Սարգիս-Կարոլինա» ընկերության փայատերերից մեկին՝ գործարար, նախկին պետական պաշտոնյա Երվանդ Թարվերդյանին, որը պատրաստվում է կուսակցություն հիմնել:

«Հրապարակը» փորձեց Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության գրասենյակից ճշտել, թե որքանով են համապատասխանում իրակա­նությանն այդ լուրերը, ինչ ֆորմատ է ենթադրում Ռուսաստանում երկար տարիներ բնակվող երկքաղաքացի Արա Աբրահամյանի հայտարարած մասնակցությունը հայաստանյան ընտ­րություններին, և արդյոք նա պատրաստվում է աջակցել Թարվերդյա­նին:

Աբրահամյանի տեղակալ Լուսիկ Ղուկասյանն ասաց, որ առաջին անգամ է լսում «Թարվերդյան» ազգա­նունը: «Կներեք, իսկ ո՞վ է Երվանդ Թարվերդյանը: Տպավորություն ունեմ, որ այդտեղ ավելի լավ են տե­ղեկացված Աբրահամյանի ծրագրե­րին, քան ինքը՝ Աբրահամյանը»: Լուսիկ Ղուկասյանը մեզ փոխանցեց Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության նախագահի պատասխանը, որը կրկին անորոշ էր. «Արա Աբրահամյանն ամենաակտիվ մասնակցությունը կունենա ընտրություններում: Նա կոչ է անում ամբողջ ժողովրդին, յուրաքանչյուր հայի, ողջ սփյուռքին՝ մի կողմ չքաշվել պետության և ողջ ազգի համար ճակատագրական այս պահին: Նա ոչ թե որպես ՌՀՄ նախագահ, այլ որպես Հա­յաստանի քաղաքացի է մասնակցելու ընտրական գործընթացին: Իսկ թե ինչ ձևաչափով՝ կհայտարարի առա­ջիկայում: Սեփական թեկնածության առաջադրումն ինքնանպատակ չէ: Այսօր հարցը ոչ թե թեկնածուի անձը կամ պաշտոնն է, այլ կործանարար գործընթացները, պետականության կորուստը կանխելն է: Դրան է տանում Փաշինյանի և նրա աջակիցների քա­ղաքականությունը»:

Ի դեպ, Արա Աբրահամյանի մաս­նակցության մի կարևոր խոչընդոտ կա՝ նա վերջին չորս տարվա ուղիղ կեսը պետք է Հայաստանում ապրած լինի, յուրաքանչյուր տարվա մեջ՝ վեց ամիս, և դա հեշտ է պարզել՝ մեկնումի և վերադարձի ամսաթվերով»,-գրում է թերթը:
