Միլիոնավոր ֆիլիպինցիներ առանց Էլեկտրականության են մնացել «Մելոր» թայֆունի պատճառով

Ֆիլիպիններին պատուհասած «Մելոր» թայֆունը դեկտեմբերի 14-ին հասել Է երկրի կենտրոնական շրջաններ: Ներկայում, երկրի օդերեւութաբանական բյուրոյի տվյալներով՝ այն գտնվում Է Ռոմբլո կղզում: Քամու արագությունը հասնում Է ժամում 140 կիլոմետրի, տեղ-տեղ դրա փոռթկումները մոտենում են ժամում 170 կիլոմետրի:
Գիշերը թայֆունը մոլեգնել Է Բիկոլ թերակղզում, որտեղ 5,4 մլն մարդ Է բնակվում: Տարածաշրջանում տարհանվել Է 720 հազար մարդ: Թերակղզու իշխանությունները հայտնել են, որ այս տարածաշրջանում զոհեր չկան:
Դեկտեմբերի 15-ի երեկոյան թայֆունը պետք Է հասնի Մինդորո կղզի եւ շարժվի դեպի Հարավչինական ծով:
Ինչպես հաղորդել Է «Ֆրանսպրես» գործակալությունը, տարերքի հարվածի հետեւանքով մի քանի միլիոն մարդ առանց Էլեկտրականության Է մնացել: Թայֆունի պատճառով տապալվել են բազմաթիվ ծառեր եւ կտրվել են Էլեկտրահաղորդման գծեր:
Զոհվածների վերաբերյալ տեղեկությունները տարբերվում են: «Ասոշիեյթեդ պրես»-ը հաղորդել Է թայֆունի մեկ զոհի, իսկ «Ֆրանսպրես»-ը՝ երեք զոհի մասին:
