Տեր-Թադեւոսյանը 1988 թվականից միացել է Արցախի ազատագրման պայքարին: Ակտիվ մասնակցություն է ունեցել կամավորականների զինվորական մարզման գործում: Անուրանալի է Արկադի Տեր-Թադեւոսյանի գործը Արցախյան ազատամարտի հաղթանակների կերտման ճանապարհին՝ Շուշիի ազատագրման պայքարում:
Անգնահատելի է Արցախի հերոս Արկադի Տեր-Թադեւոսյանի ավանդը մեր անկախ պետության, հայոց բանակաշինության գործում:
