Շատերի համար ադամանդե մատանի հասկացությունը նշանակում է ձեռքի մատի կլոր զարդ, որը կազմված է ինչ-որ թանկարժեք մետաղի օղակից, օրինակ՝ ոսկուց, արծաթից կամ պլատինից, և որի վրա տեղադրված են մեկ կամ մի քանի հղկված ադամանդե քարեր: Նման պատկերացումը ջարդել և իրենց պատկերացրած ադամանդե մատանին են կյանքի կոչել Ժնևյան հանրահայտ Shawish զարդագործական տան ոսկերիչները: Նրանք հանրությանն են ներկայացրել ամբողջական ադամանդից պատրաստված մատանի: Այս պահին աշխարհում չկա նման ապրանքի այլ օրինակ, չկա ամբողջովին մեկ ադամանդից պատրաստված մատանի: Այն եզակի է և, որպես արդյունք, զարդերի պատմության մեջ այդ մատանին արժեքի և անսովորության չեմպիոն է: Արտադրանքի մոտավոր գինը կազմում է մոտ 70 միլիոն դոլար (43 միլիոն ֆունտ), և դա զարմանալի չէ, քանի որ մատանու ընդհանուր քաշը 150 կարատ է:

Բարձր որակավորում ունեցող մասնագետների մի խումբ, որոնց շարքում եղել են հենց իրենք` Shawish ընկերության համասեփականատերեր եղբայրներ Մուհամեդ և Մեյդի Չավեսները, աշխատել են մի ամբողջ տարի, որպեսզի ստեղծեն այդ գլուխգործոցը: Այդքան ժամանակ է պահանջվել հաշվարկների, ուրվագծման, ինչպես նաև զարդի փորձարկման համար: Զարդագործների փորձառության, բարձր տեխնոլոգիական սարքերի և հատուկ լազերային տեխնոլոգիայի օգտագործման շնորհիվ հնարավոր է դարձել փոխել քարի մոլեկուլային կառուցվածքը և մատանի ստանալ մեկ ամբողջական ադամանդից: Առանձնահատուկ ուշադրություն է դարձվել լույսի ճառագայթների բեկման ազդեցությանը՝ լույսի ադամանդային անդրադարձումների խաղին, որի համար պատասխանատու են ադամանդի՝ վարպետորեն հղկված նիստերը: Մատանին ստեղծելուց հետո, որպեսզի բացառվի նման զարմանալի մատանի ստեղծելու կրկնօրինակումը, և ելնելով տեխնոլոգիայի եզակիության վերաբերյալ տարբեր պահանջներից՝ Shawish ընկերությունն արտոնագրել է ամբողջական ադամանդե մատանի ստեղծելու եղանակը:

Ադամանդե մատանին համընդհանուր ցուցադրման է ներկայացվել 2011 թվականի ապրիլի 14-ին, Լոնդոնում տեղի ունեցած Bottaccio 2011 ցուցահանդեսում: Հետագայում գովազդի նպատակով այդ մատանու ճշգրիտ պատճենն ուղարկվել է շրջագայության խոշոր քաղաքներով, որոնց թվում են Կաննը, Մոսկվան, Սեուլը: Մատանին խնամքով պահվում է բանկերից մեկում գտնվող պահարանում: Ամբողջական ադամանդե մատանին մեկ այլ անգամ հրապարակայնորեն ցուցադրվել է 2012 թվականին Շվեյցարիայում տեղի ունեցած Baselworld զարդերի և ժամացույցների ցուցահանդեսում: Այս զարդը ստեղծվել է որպես սիրո և ամուսնության խորհրդանիշ հանդիսացող ամուսնական մատանի և անմիջապես դարձել է մոլորակի ամենահարուստ ընտանիքների յուրաքանչյուր աղջկա գրեթե անհնար երազանքը. յուրաքանչյուրն է երազում ամուսնության օրը մատին ունենալ զարդագործական նման թանկ և էլեգանտ գլուխգործոց: Հետաքրքիր է, թե արդյոք կգտնվի՞ որևէ մեկը, որը կհամարձակվի իր սիրելիին նվիրել այդպիսի թանկարժեք նվեր: Սպասենք դրան:
