«ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ ունեցած բանակցությունների արդյունքների մասին խոսելիս երեկ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայ իրավաբանների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ասել է, որ ինքը գոհ է նախագահի հետ հանդիպման արդյունքներից, նույնիսկ՝ «շատ գոհ»։ Եվ ընդգծել է․
«․․․Ունենք հայ-ռուսական համատեղ զորախմբի մասին համաձայնագիր և համաձայնություն` տարածաշրջանային հակաօդային պաշտպանության ընդհանուր համակարգի մասին, որոնք գործում են»։ Ավելացրել է, որ քննարկել են նոր իրավիճակում այդ համաձայնագրերի դրույթների իրագործման կոնկրետ պլանը և մեխանիզմները: Թե հատկապես ինչից է այդքան գոհ Փաշինյանը, դժվար է ասել։ Բանն այն է, որ դեռևս 2016-ին՝ ապրիլյան պատերազմից հետո, երբ Հայաստանի ԱԺ-ն վավերացրեց Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև հակաօդային պաշտպանության՝ ՀՕՊ համաձայնագիրը, նա մի բոցաշունչ ելույթ ունեցավ և քարը քարին չթողեց հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների առնչությամբ, իսկ համաձայնագիրը բնորոշեց որպես Հայաստանի համար «բուտաֆորիկ անվտանգություն»։
«5 տոննա մակուլատուրա եք բերել էս դահլիճում վավերացրել, ձեր կոմպետենտության խնդիրը կա»,- ասում էր Փաշինյանը՝ համաձայնագրից տողեր ցիտելով։ Նա զայրանում էր, որ Հայաստանն իրավունք չի ունենալու այլևս միայնակ որոշել ՀՀ երկնքում հայտնված ցանկացած ինքնաթիռի խոցման, մանավանդ՝ ադրբեջանական ինքնաթիռները խոցելու հարցը։
«Այս համաձայնագիրը պետք է Ռուսաստանին աշխարհաքաղաքական խաղերի բախումների համար, և այս կոնտեքստում Հայաստանը, ցավոք սրտի, սուբյեկտ չէ»,- ասում էր նա ու հեգնում․ «Իսկ դուք եկել Ռուսաստանին շնորհակալություն․․․ էնքան շնորհակալություն ենք հայտնել վերջին 200 տարվա ընթացքում, որ դոզան անցել եք․․․ Դուք էդ ռուսական ինքնաթիռները Հայաստանի վրա սկի մի մետր չեք կարող շարժել, հիմա եկել եք ասում՝ ձեր հրամանատարության ներքո ռուսական օդուժն օդ է բարձրանալու, թան էլ չէ, բրդած մածուն Ձեզ․․․ Մեր էլիտայի ներքին փոքրությունն է, անընդհատ մեծ եղբոր ձգտումը կա, մեր պաշտպանությունը մենք ինքներս պիտի իրականացնենք։ Դո՛ւք պետք է Հայաստանում ստեղծեիք կործանիչ ավիացիա, եթե չեք արել, ուրեմն հակապետական, հակահայկական իշխանություն եք»»,-գրում է թերթը:
