Ազատության հրապարակում դեկտեմբերի 6-ից մինչև օրս շարունակվում է պայքարը: Բեմահարթակում կանգնածները պարբերաբար հնչեցնում են հրաժարականների կոչեր, քննադատական ելույթներ և այլն:
Ակնհայտ է, որ շարժումը բավականաչափ ռեսուրս ու համակիրներ չունի որևէ լուրջ քայլեր նախաձեռնելու և կտրուկ գործողություններ անելու համար: Այս պայմաններում, նմանատիպ գործելաոճը նմանվում է ինքնանպատակ արկածախնդրության, որը ոչ մի խնդիր չի լուծում և նման տենդենցով, վստահ կարելի է ասել, որ մոտ ապագայում չի էլ լուծելու:
Նոր Հայաստան ճակատի անդամ Վարուժան Ավետիսյանը դիմել է քաղաքապետարանին արտոնել դեկտեմբերի 18-ից մինչեւ հունվարի 8-ը ժամը 00.00-24.00 Ազատության հրապարակում իրականացնել հավաքներ և հավաքների ընթացքում անցկացնել երթ:
Թվում էր թե, հանրահավաքի կազմակերպիչները իրենց ցույցերի վիճակագրևական տվյալներն իմի կբերեին, կգնահատեին և գոնե տոն օրերին հանգիստ կթողնեին Ազատության հրապարակը: Կհասկանային, որ շարժումն այն մեծ վարկանիշը չունի, որպեսզի մարդկանց դուրս հանի տներից և հավաքի Ազատության հրապարակում: Ակնհայտ է, որ այսօր Հայաստանի քաղաքացիները պատրաստվում են Ամանորին, հետևաբար, Նոր Հայաստանի՝ տոն օրերին հանրահավաքներ անցկացնելը միայն խանգարելու է քաղաքացիներին:
Հասկանում եմ, որ այս մարդիկ լուրջ հեղափոխության գործընթացի մեջ են, փորձում են կարգավորել երկրի վիճակը, սակայն լավ կլինի, որ գոնե այս օրերին թողնեն երեխաներին ուրախանալ, տոներից հետո կկարողանան շարունակել իրենց հեղափոխությունը:
