Թուրքիայի և Իտալիայի միջև դիվանագիտական սկանդալի ֆոնին Թուրքիան դադարեցրել է իտալական Leonardo ընկերությունից 70 մլն եվրոյով (83 մլն դոլար) ուղղաթիռների գնման գործարքը, գրում է la Repubblica հրատարակությունը՝ հիշեցնելով, որ սկանդալի պատճառը Իտալիայի վարչապետ Մարիո Դրագիի՝ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի հասցեին օրերս հնչեցրած խոսքերն են։
Թերթի տեղեկություններով՝ թուրքական իշխանություններն Իտալիայի կառավարությունից պաշտոնական ներողություն են պահանջում և չեն պատրաստվում հարաբերությունները բավարարվել դիվանագիտական խողովակներով հասցված պարզաբանումներով։
«Թուրքիայի իշխանությունները սկսել են սպառնալից ազդակներ փոխանցել»,- ասվում է la Repubblica-ի հոդվածում:
Նշվում է, որ այս պահին սառեցվել է ուսումնական ուղղաթիռների գնման 70 մլն եվրոյի գործարքը, որը պետք է ստորագրվեր առաջիկա օրերին։ Նաև նախազգուշացումներ են ստացել երեք այլ իտալական ընկերություններ, որոնց թվում է Թուրքիայում էլեկտրակայաններ կառուցող խոշոր էներգետիկ Ansaldo Energia-ը:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Իտալիայի վարչապետն օրերս անընդունելի էր համարել Անկարայում Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ թուրք պաշտոնյաների պահվածքը։
Խոսելով արարողակարգային սկանդալի մասին, երբ Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լայենի համար աթոռ դրված չէր Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Էրդողանի կողքին, և Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահը ստիպված էր զրույցը վարել բազմոցին նստած, Մարիո Դրագին հայտարարել էր․«Իմ կարծիքով, թուրք պաշտոնյաների պահվածքն անընդունելի էր, և ես շատ ցավում եմ այն ամենի համար, ինչ ստիպված էր տանել նախագահ ֆոն դեր Լայենը»:
«Եկեք իրերն իրենց անուններով կոչենք, մենք պետք է համագործակցենք այդ բռնապետերի հետ, բայց դա չի խանգարում մեզ ազնիվ մնալ տեսակետներ, կարծիքներ արտահայտելու հարցում, ու նաև այն մասին, թե ինչպես պետք է զարգանա հասարակությունը», - ընդգծել էր Իտալիայի վարչապետը։
