Հայաստանի ծանրամարտի տղամարդկանց թիմի մարզիչ Վիգեն Խաչատրյանն ամփոփեց Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում հայ մարզիկների գրանցած արդյունքները:

«Երիտասարդ ծանրորդները շատ լավ մասնակցեցին: Ռաֆիկ Հարությունյանը գերազանցեց մեր սպասելիքները և նույնիսկ փոքր մեդալ նվաճեց: Գալիք տարի նա ամբողջապես մեծահասակների մեջ կպայքարի: Կարեն Ավագյանը իր երիտասարդ տարիքին ակնհայտ առաջատարն է մեծահասակների պայքարում: Ավագյանը ուժեղագույնն է այս պահին, և նրա հետ պետք է հաշվի նստել: Նա մեծ ներուժ ունի»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Խաչատրյանը:

Անդրադառնալով Անդրանիկ Կարապետյանին՝ մասնագետը շեշտեց, որ մի շարք ձախողումներից հետո նա կարծես վերագտել է իրեն և նորից կապացուցի իր կարգը: «Սամվել Գասպարյանի կարգում մտածում էինք ադրբեջանցու հնարավոր մրցակցության մասին, բայց Սամվելը նրա «հերն անիծեց»: Արսեն Մարտիրոսյանը հզոր տղա է: Հիմա մոտ երկու կգ քաշ ավելացնելու հարց կա, երբ հավաքեց այդ կիլոգրամները առհասարակ խնդիր չի ունենա: Վարազդատ Լալայանը Գոռ Մինասյանի արժանի հետնորդն է: Ապագայում նա միակ մարդն է լինելու, ով մարտահրավեր է նետելու Լաշա Տալախաձեին: Գոռ Մինասյանի բարձրացրած քաշերը լուրջ թվեր են»,- ասաց նա:

Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում Իզաբելլա Յայլյանը (55 կգ) երկամարտում զբաղեցրեց 4-րդ հորիզոնականը, իսկ հրում վարժությունում նվաճեց փոքր արծաթե մեդալ: 81 կգ քաշային  կարգում Ռաֆիկ Հարությունյանը երկամարտի 346 կգ արդյունքով գրավեց  4-րդ տեղը, իսկ հրում վարժությունում նա նվաճեց փոքր բրոնզե մեդալ: 89 կգ քաշում Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն դարձավ Կարեն Ավագյանը, ով երկամարտում գրանցեց 375 կգ, ինչպես նաև արժանացավ փոքր ոսկե (պոկում) և արծաթե (հրում) մեդալների:  81 կգ քաշային կարգում Լիանա Գյուրջյանը դարձավ Եվրոպայի առաջնության բրոնզե մեդալակիր: Գյուրջյանը պոկեց 98 կգ և հրեց 129 կգ նվաճելով նաև փոքր արծաթե մեդալ: 96 կգ քաշում Հակոբ Մկրտչյանը դարձավ Եվրոպայի առաջնության բրոնզե մեդալակիր: Հակոբ Մկրտչյանը պոկեց 160 կգ, սակայն հաջորդ երկու մոտեցումներն անհաջող էին: Հրում վարժությունում գյումրեցի մարզիկը նախ բարձրացրեց 205 կգ, այնուհետ` 212 կգ, սակայն չկարողացավ 215 կգ-ն: Նա նվաճեց փոքր արծաթե մեդալ: Երկամարտում Հակոբ Մկրտչյանը գրանցեց 372 կգ արդյունք: 102 կգ քաշում Սամվել Գասպարյանը դարձավ Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն, իսկ Արսեն Մարտիրոսյանը` փոխչեմպիոն: 109 կգ քաշում Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանը դարձավ փոքր ոսկե մեդալակիր, իսկ երկամարտում «զրո» ստացավ: Գերծանր քաշային կարգում Գոռ Մինասյանը դարձավ Եվրոպայի առաջնության արծաթե մեդալակիր, իսկ Վարազդատ Լալայանը` բրոնզե:
