«Մեկ դարից ավելի է անցել Օսմանյան Թուրքիայի կողմից ծրագրված և իրագործված Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից։ Եղեռնահար մեր ժողովուրդը փրկված բեկորներով ցրվեց աշխարհով մեկ՝ իր պատմական հայրենիքում և գաղթի անապատներում թողնելով մեկ և կես միլիոն նահատակների։

20-րդ դարասկզբին հայ ժողովրդի ցեղասպանությունը արձանագրված է որպես մարդկության դեմ գործված դարի առաջին հանցագործություն՝ ազգի բնաջնջման, էթնիկ թշնամանքի հրեշավոր դրսևորումներով։

Ցեղասպանության ողբերգության ցավը այսօր արցախյան պատերազմի ծանր կորուստներով նորովի է պատել մեր ժողովրդի հոգին:

Մեր սուրբ նահատակների լույս հիշատակի առջև մեր նվիրական պարտքն է ամրապնդել ազգային միաբանությունը, ներքաղաքական զարգացումներում զերծ մնալ բռնություններից ու բախումներից և նախանձախնդիր ոգով հետամուտ լինել մեր իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը։

Մեր ժողովրդի կյանքը ձեռքբերումներով զարդարելու, մեր առջև ծառացած մարտահրավերներին ու սպառնալիքներին դիմակայելու գրավականը պետության զորացման պատասխանատվության բարձր զգացումն է և համախմբումը ազգային ու հոգևոր արժեքների շուրջ։

Մեր սուրբ նահատակների բարեխոսության հայցով աղոթում ենք Ամենողորմ Տիրոջը, որ խաղաղ ու անվտանգ լինի մեր երկիրը, և աշխարհասփյուռ մեր ժողովուրդը միակամ ու միասնական կերտի իր բարօր ու լուսավոր ապագան՝ հանուն ազգի ու հայրենյաց»:
