Сменная работа в 2-3 раза повышает риск госпитализации с COVID-19 – исследование

Рабочий график может влиять на риск госпитализации при коронавирусной инфекции COVID-19. Об этом сообщается в новом исследовании, которое было опубликовано в журнале Thorax.

Как сообщает Medportal.ru, некоторые данные указывают на то, что сменная работа может быть связана с повышенными рисками. Например, известны вспышки среди работников фабрик, которые работают в ночные смены.  

В новом исследовании ученые использовали данные Британского Биобанка о более 280 человек в возрасте 40-69 лет. Они сопоставили информацию об их здоровье и особенностях работы с данными о заболеваемости COVID-19. Критерием этой болезни в этой научной работе была инфекция, подтвержденная ПЦР-тестом у госпитализированных пациентов.

Исследование показало, что по сравнению с показателями тех, кто регулярно работает в обычные дневные часы:

  • периодическая посменная работа связана увеличением риска заражения SARS-CoV-2 в среднем в два раза;
  • постоянная посменная работа – с увеличением этого риска в 2,5 раза;
  • регулярная ночная посменная работа – в 3 раза;
  • нерегулярная ночная посменная работа – а 3,5 раза.

В расчетах ученые учитывали дополнительные фактор риска, включая пол, возраст, вес, продолжительность сна, употребление алкоголя, курение. Они показали, эти данные верны и для людей одинаковых или сходных профессий: риск заболевания COVID-19 связан с типом рабочего графика.
