ՀՀ նախագահը շնորհակալական ուղերձ է հղել

Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը շնորհակալական ուղերձ է հղել «Ավրորա» մարդասիրական նախաձեռնության համահիմնադիրներ Նուբար Աֆեյանին և Ռուբեն Վարդանյանին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման գործում ներդրած ջանքերի համար:
Նախագահի ուղերձում մասնավորապես ասվում է.
«Ապրիլի 24-ին՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակի օրը, հայտարարվեցին «Ավրորա» մարդասիրական նախաձեռնության տարվա հերոսների անունները:
Առաջին անգամ, հիմնադրումից ի վեր, «Ավրորա» մրցանակաբաշխությունն անցկացվեց առանց նրա կնքահայրերից մեկի՝ մեր ավագ ընկեր, «Ավրորա» նախաձեռնության համահիմնադիր և «Ավրորա» մրցանակի Ընտրող հանձնաժողովի անդամ Վարդան Գրեգորյանի, որ կյանքից հեռացավ օրեր առաջ:
Եվս մեկ անգամ մեծագույն ցավս արտահայտելով Վարդան Գրեգորյանի կորստյան առթիվ՝ ցանկանում եմ շնորհակալություն հայտնել «Ավրորա» նախաձեռնության բոլոր հիմնադիրներին՝ իրենց գործունեությամբ Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման պայքարին մասնակցելու համար: Այդ գործում անուրանալի է բոլորիս սիրելի Վարդան Գրեգորյանի ներդրումը:
Նա ականավոր մարդասեր էր, գիտնական, հետազոտող ու խորհրդատու ազգային ու միջազգային մակարդակներում, առանցքային դեր ուներ ինչպես հայապահպանության, այնպես էլ հայությանը ներկայացնելու, հայոց արդար դատի մասին բարձրաձայնելու, այն հանրայնացնելու գործում:
Վստահ եմ, որ դուք նույն եռանդով շարունակելու եք Վարդան Գրեգորյանի հետ սկսած գործը՝ ի հիշատակ թե՛ մեր մեծ հայրենակցի, թե՛ նրա ներդրած ավանդի, թե՛ նրա ծավալած պայքարի ու խորապես ազգային գործունեության և, անշուշտ, հանուն այն նպատակների, որոնք նա ավարտին չհասցրեց»:
Նախագահ Սարգսյանը նշել է, որ Վարդան Գրեգորյանը երբեք չէր թաքցնում իր մեծ սերն առ Հայրենիք: «Մենք պարտավոր ենք առնվազն ավելացնել այդ սերը՝ ձեռք ձեռքի աշխատելով հանուն Հայրենիքի, հանուն այն Հայրենիքի, որի մասին երազում էին նաև 106 տարի առաջ Օսմանյան կայսրությունում ցեղասպանված մեր հայրենակիցները, հանուն այն Հայրենիքի, որի մասին այսօր մտածում են նաև նրանց սերունդները»,-ասվում է նախագահ Սարգսյանի ուղերձում:
