«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է․  «Արտահերթ ընտրությունների հնարավոր ելքի մասին խոսում են ամեն օր: Նույնիսկ նորաբաց ու անհասկանալի նպատակներ ունեցող կուսակցությունները իրենց թիմակիցներին վստահեցնում են իրենց թիմի հաղթանակի մեծ հավանականության մասին, եւ ամեն մեկը փորձում է ինչ-որ կերպ աչքի ընկնել ու ցույց տալ, թե ինչքան հայրենասեր է, որքան խելացի ու բանիմաց են իրենց թիմերը:

Հասարակական կարծիքի ուսումնասիրությամբ զբաղվող հայտնի ընկերություններից մեզ փոխանցեցին, որ իրականում գրեթե կրկնվում է 2018թ.-ի սցենարը. որքան շատ են երեւում նախկինները կամ նախկինների հետ ասոցացվող մարդիկ, այդքան ուժեղանում է Փաշինյանի շուրջ մոբիլիզացիան: Մեզ փոխանցեցին, որ մինչեւ այս ամսվա վերջ կհրապարակվեն ավելի կոնկրետ թվեր, բայց այս պահին Փաշինյանի վարկանիշը բարձր է։
Մեր այն դիտարկմանը, թե հնարավոր էր ունենալ այլ արդյունք, եթե ընդդիմադիր դաշտում գործեին նոր ուժեր ու կուսակցություններ, մեզ փոխանցեցին, որ նման դեպքում, ամենայն հավանականության, Փաշինյանի հաղթանակի շանսերը առնվազն կնվազեին, քանի որ հարցվածների մի զգալի մասը, հարցին, թե ինչու Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, պատասխանում են՝ որ նախկինները հետ չգան։ Եվ հենց սրանով է պայմանավորված մյուս թեկնածուների համեմատությամբ Փաշինյանի վարկանիշը։ Հիշեցնենք, որ օրեր առաջ էլ մամուլում հրապարակում եղավ, թե, ուսումնասիրությունների համաձայն, ընտրության գնացողների 60 տոկոսից ավելին պատրաստ է քվեարկել Փաշինյանի օգտին։

Ցավալին այն է, որ ամբողջ մի ազգի գաղափարախոսությունն ու երազանքը դարձել է նախկինների հետ չգալը, իսկ թե ինչ է լինելու տնտեսության հետ, ինչ է լինելու Արցախում, ինչ է լինելու արտաքին քաղաքական հարցերում, կարծես թե, լայն զանգվածներին չի էլ հուզում»:
