POLITICSԼևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանն իր ընդդիմադիր գործունեության արդյունքում երկու անգամ փորձել է անել իշխանափոխություն, կամ հեղափոխություն, մեկը եղել է 2008 թվականի ժողովրդավարական հեղափոխությունը, որը չի ստացվել, երկրորդը եղել է բուրժուադեմոկրատական հեղափոխությունը, որի ճակատագիրը բոլորս գիտենք, թերևս Լևոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը որոշել է կրկին փորձել և անել ավազակապետական հեղափոխություն՝ ես ուղղակի իմ կարգավիճակի պատճառով այլ տերմիններ ևս չեմ օգտագործում: Այս մասին ԱԺ-ում Կառավարության հետ հարցուպատասխանի ժամանակ ասաց ՀՀ վարչապետի պաշտոնակատար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը անդրադառնալով՝ ՀՀ առաջին նախագահի հայտարարությանը, որով նա ՀՀ նախկին նախագահներ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին և Սերժ Սարգսյանին առաջարկել էր ընտրությանը մասնակցել մեկ դաշինքով։
«Մարդիկ կային, որ 1997-1998 թվականներից պնդում էին, որ սա թատրոն է, խաղ են այս քաղաքական գործընթացները և այլն, հիմա այս խոսակցությունները կարծում եմ ավելի կակտիվանան, և այդպես պնդող մարդիկ կասեն նաև իմ և ոչ միայն իմ երեսով կտան ու կասեն՝ տեսաք, բա որ էն ժամանակ ասում էինք՝ այս ամենը թատրոն է, իզուր գնացիք էդ ամեն ինչի մեջ մտաք: Միակ բանը, որ քաղաքական գործունեության ընթացքում 1-ին նախագահին մեծ ճշգրտությամբ հաջողվել է նախկինում, Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին և Սերժ Սարգսյանին իշխանության բերելն է և պահելն է, որը փաստորեն ոմանց ջանքերով խափանվել»,- ասաց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:
