Դեռևս 2018 թվականին Հայաստանը՝ ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության համակարգմամբ (այժմ՝ ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարություն), պաշտոնապես միացել է «Ստեղծագործ Եվրոպա» ծրագրին:

ԿԳՄՍՆ-ից NEWS.am-ին հայտնում են, որ այն Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի կողմից իրագործվող մշակույթի ֆինանսավորման ամենամեծ նախագիծն է, որը ֆինանսավորում է նաև 2009 թվականին մեկնարկած Եվրոպական միության գրական մրցանակը (EUPL): Նախաձեռնությունն ամբողջ Եվրոպայում հանրահռչակում է ճանաչման ուղին բռնած արձակագիրներին։ Մրցանակը յուրաքանչյուր երկրից շնորհվում է ամեն տարի ընտրված մեկական հեղինակի։ 2021 թ․-ին այդ երկրները 14-ն են, իսկ Հայաստանը մասնակցում է առաջին անգամ։

Մայիսի 7-ին՝ ժամը 19:00-ին, «ԱրտԲրիջ» գրախանութ-սրճարանում տեղի կունենա հանդիպում Եվրոպական միության գրական մրցանակի թեկնածու հայ հեղինակների, նրանց հրատարակիչների և մրցույթի հայաստանյան հանձնաժողովի հետ։ Միջոցառման մասնակիցները հնարավորություն կունենան ծանոթանալու եվրոպական այդ հեղինակավոր մրցանակին հավակնող գրական ստեղծագործություններին՝ անմիջապես հեղինակների ներկայացմամբ, ինչպես նաև տեղում ձեռք բերել գրքերը՝ հատուկ զեղչով։

Հայաստանը ներկայացնող 5 ստեղծագործություններն են՝ Արամ Ավետիսի «Երբ առնետները կարդալ գիտեին», Հովիկ Աֆյանի «Կարմիր», Արամ Պաչյանի «PF», Անուշ Սարգսյանի «Անոն», Լուսինե Խառատյանի «Անմոռուկի փակուղի»: Նշենք, որ հաղթողների անունները կհայտարարվեն մայիսի 18-ին՝ առցանց միջոցառման ընթացքում, իսկ հանդիսավոր մրցանակաբաշխությունը տեղի կունենա ավելի ուշ։

Թեկնածու գրքերն ու հաղթողին որոշում են ազգային հանձնաժողովները, որոնք ընտրվում են Եվրոպական միության գրական մրցանակի նախաձեռնող կոնսորցիումի կողմից։ Կոնսորցիումի երեք անդամ կազմակերպություններից յուրաքանչյուրն առաջադրում է ազգային հանձնաժողովի իր թեկնածուին, օրինակ՝ Եվրոպայի գրողների խորհուրդը, որպես կանոն, առաջադրում է գրողի, Եվրոպայի հրատարակիչների միությունը՝ հրատարակչի, իսկ Եվրոպայի գրավաճառների միությունը՝ գրավաճառի։ Այդ սկզբունքով է ձևավորվել նաև Հայաստանի ազգային հանձնաժողովը, որն այս տարի նախագահում է արձակագիր Արմեն Օհանյանը։ Հանձնաժողովի մյուս անդամներն են գրական գործակալ Արևիկ Աշխարոյանը, հրատարակիչ Մկրտիչ Մաթևոսյանը, գրավաճառ Շաքե Հավանը, գրական թարգմանիչ Անահիտ Ավետիսյանը։

Մրցույթին կարող են մասնակցել վերջին երկու տարվա ընթացքում Հայաստանում տպագրված արձակ գործեր՝ պատմվածքների ժողովածու, վեպ, եթե համապատասխանում են սահմանված բոլոր չափորոշիչներին։ Մրցանակի թեկնածու կարող է լինել հեղինակի առնվազն երկրորդ, առավելագույնը՝ չորրորդ գիրքը։ Կան նաև ժանրային և այլ բնույթի սահմանափակումներ: Եվրոպական միության գրական մրցանակի արժանացող հեղինակը կստանա դրամական պարգև և միջազգային հանրահռչակման հնարավորություններ:
