Հայաստանի կառավարությունը շարունակում է ակտիվ աշխատել հայ-իրանական երկաթուղու կառուցման ծրագիրը կյանքի կոչելու ուղղությամբ: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում ասաց ՀՀ տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Արթուր Առաքելյանը՝ պատասխանելով ԱԺ ԲՀԿ խմբակցության քարտուղար Վահե Էնֆիաջյանի հարցին:«Տարածաշրջանային վերջին զարգացումներն էլ, ըստ էության, այդ ծրագրի օգտին են, քանի որ բեռնափոխադրումների դիվերսիֆի կացիան կարևոր գործընթաց է  Իրանի համար, ինչը բազմաթիվ անգամներ ասվել է նաև միջկառավարական շփումների ընթացքում: Դուք գիտեք նաև, որ հանրապետության Նախագահը պաշտոնական այցով Չինաստանում է եղել, և այդ ծրագիրն ակտիվ քննարկվել է Չինաստանի ղեկավարության հետ: Այնտեղ մենք ներկայացրել ենք ծրագրի իրագործման հստակ ուսումնասիրություններ, որն այդ այցի շրջանակներում մանրամասն քննարկվել է»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Առաքելյանը:

Նա հիշեցրեց, որ այս տարվա սեպտեմբերին հանրապետության վարչապետը ևս այցելել է Չինաստան, որտեղ ևս մեկ անգամ հարցն ակտիվ քննարկվել է: «Չինաստանում այս պահին հստակ օպատասխանատու օղակները և մենք Հայաստանում շատ ակտիվ աշխատում ենք այդ ծրագրի ֆինանսավորման սխեմայի վրա: Մենք արդեն ունենք որոշակի ուրվագծված տարբերակներ»,- մանրամասնեց փոխնախարարը:

Ավարտելով խոսքը՝ Արթուր Առաքելյանը նկատեց, որ հայ-իրանական երկաթուղու կառուցումը շատ թանկ ծրագիր է՝ շուրջ 3-4 միլիարդ դոլար արժողությամբ: «Մենք ունենք այդ թվերը, քանի որ ուսումնասիրություններն արդեն ավարտել ենք: Բնականաբար, շատ բարդ է լինելու, բայց, քանի որ մենք ունենք հանձնառությունը, պետք է այն հասցնենք իր տրամաբանական ավարտին»,- ասաց փոխնախարարը:
