Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, Հայաստանի և Արցախի քույրեր և եղբայրներ.
 
Յուրաքանչյուր տարի այս օրը՝ մենք մեր շնորհավորանքի խոսքն էինք հղում մայիսյան փառապանծ եռատոնի՝ Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում տարած հաղթանակի, Արցախի Պաշտպանության բանակի և Շուշիի ազատագրման օրվա առթիվ: Ցավոք, 2020 թվականի սեպտեմբերին սանձազերծված Արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմը մեզնից խլեց այս օրը եռատոն կոչելու իրավունքը, քանի որ ազատագրված Շուշին մենք կորցրեցինք: Բայց ես ուզում եմ հավատալ, որ վաղ թե ուշ մենք այդ իրավունքը վերականգնելու ենք:
 
Ես այս պահին էլ գտնվում եմ Արցախում, Արցախի ու արցախցիների կողքին: Դժվարին այս պահին մեզնից յուրաքանչյուրը պետք է անի հնարավոր ու անհնարին ամեն բան՝ Արցախի թիկունքն ամուր պահելու ու արցախցիների ժպիտը վերադարձնելու համար: Մեր պատմության մեջ միշտ էլ եղել են ճակատագրական պահեր ու տարբեր մարտահրավերներ, որոնք հաղթահարել ենք մեր հզոր կամքով ու միասնությամբ և շարունակելու ենք նույն կերպ հաղթահարել դժվարություններն ու ամրապնդել հայկական երկու հանրապետությունները:
 
Այս տարի լրանում է Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում ֆաշիզմի դեմ տարած հաղթանակի և Երկրորդ աշխարհամարտի ավարտի 76-ամյակը:
 
Սրտանց շնորհավորում եմ Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի հայ վետերաններին, որոնց թիվը, ցավոք սրտի, տարեցտարի քչանում է: Մաղթում եմ նրանց անսպառ առողջություն ու արևշատություն: Հենց նրանց անձնազոհ պայքարով ու նվիրումով հնարավոր եղավ ապահովել մեր հայրենիքի խաղաղ ու անվտանգ գոյությունը, որի մասին մենք պարտավոր ենք մշտապես հիշել: Փառք ու պատիվ մեր բոլոր վետերաններին, իսկ հայկական երկու հանրապետությունների ժողովուրդներին՝ խաղաղություն և բարօրություն:
