«Հենակետ» վերլուծական կենտրոն ՀԿ ղեկավար, Արցախի նախագահի անվտանգության հարցերով նախկին խորհրդական Տիգրան Աբրահամյանը գրում է․ «Անվտանգության խորհրդի նիստում վարչապետ Փաշինյանը հայտարարել է, որ «Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերն այդ տեղանքում (Իշխանասար) հատել են Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պետական սահմանը և խորացել մինչև 3,5 կիլոմետր, ըստ էության, փորձ են անում պարփակել Սև լիճը»։

Հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ երեկ վարչապետի թիմակիցները, տարատեսակ կառույցներն ու պաշտոնատար անձինք մինչև ԱԽ նիստը փորձում էին խեղաթյուրել իրադրությունը՝ որոշ դեպքերում ծաղրական, վիրավորական որակումներով, կարելի է ենթադրել, որ իշխանությունը մինչև վերջին պահը հույս է ունեցել, որ իրավիճակն այնուամենայնիվ ի օգուտ Հայաստանի կհանգուցալուծվի։

Վարչապետի խոսքերով, «պետք է արձանագրել, որ իրավիճակն առնվազն մերձճգնաժամային է, եթե չասենք ճգնաժամային»։

Եթե նույնիսկ արտաքուստ իրավիճակը կարգավորվի, ադրբեջանական զորքերը վերադառնան նախկին դիրքեր, ապա այս պարագայում ենթադրելի է, որ զիջում կլինի մեկ այլ ճակատում՝ կարևոր չէ սահմանին, թե քաղաքական հարցերում։

Այսինքն՝ վարչապետի գիշերային նիստն ու հնչեցրած գնահատականները ցույց են տալիս, որ սա զուտ պետական սահմանի խախտման դեպք չէ և իր մեջ առավել խորքային խնդիրներ է պարունակում։

Ադրբեջանը ոչ միայն տեղային խնդիր է լուծում՝ բարենպաստ դիրքավորում, Սև լճի՝ ջրային պաշարների վրա վերահսկողության հաստատում, այլ Հայաստանի հետ տարվող բանակցություններում ճնշման նոր՝ բավականին ազդեցիկ գործիք ստանում»։
