Միացյալ Նահանգների Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի խնդրի կարգավորմանը նվիրված դռնփակ քննարկում է կազմակերպելու 2016 թվականի հունվարին, որի ընթացքում քննարկվելու են զինադադարի պահպանմանը նվիրված նոր միջոցները: Քննարկմանը հրավիրված է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ԱՄՆ համանախագահ Ջեյմս Ուորլիքը:«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` այս մաս ին «Ամերիկայի ձայնի» հայկական ծառայությանը հայտնել է Հայ դատի ԱՄՆ հանձնախմբի ներկայացուցիչ Եղիսաբեթ Չուլջյանը: «Առաջիկա շաբաթներին Արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովը դռնփակ նիստին հարցումներ է ուղղելու ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ Ուորլիքին»,- ասել է Չուլջյանը:

Ավելի վաղ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի խնդրի կարգավորման առնչությամբ Միացյալ Նահնագների Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Էդ Ռոյսը նամակ էր հղել ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարությանը: Նամակին միացել էր 85 կոնգրեսական:

Էդ Ռոյսին ուղղված պատասխանում պետքարտուղարությունը աջակցություն էր հայտնել զինադադարի պահպանման նոր միջոցներին: Մեկնաբանելով Ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության ներկա վիճակը, Արտաքին քաղաքականության հետազոտությունների հաստատության վերլուծաբան Մայքլ Սեսիլին նշում է, որ ռուս- թուրքական հարաբերությունների վատթարացումը փոխել է իրավիճակը նաև տարածաշրջանում: «Եթե նախկինում պարզ էր, թե ով ում դաշնակիցն է, ապա այժմ Ադրբեջանը ու նրա դաշնակիցներն այլ ուղղությամբ են ընթանում, և նրանց ռազմավարական շահերը աշխարհաքաղաքական հակասությունների մեջ են»,- նշել է ամերիկացի վերլուծաբանը:

Նրա կարծիքով` թեև Ադրբեջանի ռազմավարական դաշնակիցը Թուրքիան է, սակայն ստեղծված իրավիճակում նրա շահերն ավելի շատ տեղավորվում են Ռուսաստանի և Իրանի շահերի շրջանակում:
