Ռուսաստանն ակտիվ ջանքեր է գործադրում նաև Սյունիքում տիրող իրավիճակի հանգուցալուծման համար: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ-ում ՌԴ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Սերգեյ Կոպիրկինը՝ «Ռազմավարական դաշնակից Ռուսաստանի կերպարը ժամանակակից հայ հասարակությունում» խորագրով համաժողովի ընթացքում, որը կազմակերպել են Եվրասիական փորձագիտական ակումբը և «Ինտեգրացիա և զարգացում» ՀԿ-ն:

«Ռուսաստանին ու Հայաստանին շատ ավելին է միավորում, ինչը չպետք է մոռանալ հատկապես ներկայում՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար ոչ դյուրին ժամանակահատվածում: Այն փորձությունները, որոնցով անցնում է հայ ժողովուրդը, ամբողջությամբ ցույց են տալիս մեր դաշնակցային հարաբերությունների որակը: Ռուսաստանը միակ երկիրն է, որը ծանր իրավիճակում Հայաստանին գործնական աջակցություն է ցուցաբերել»,- ասաց ՌԴ դեսպանը՝ հավելելով, որ մեծ ջանքերի շնորհիվ հաջողվել է դադարեցնել մարտական գործողություններն Արցախում, և ձեռնարկվում են միջոցներ Արցախը խաղաղ կյանքին վերադարձնելու համար:

Անդրադառնալով հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների առանձնահատկություններին՝ ՌԴ դեսպանը նշեց, որ դրանք դարերով փորձված միության արդյունք են:

«Մեր պատմության ընդհանրություններն այն կապերն են, որոնք զարգացել են դարերի ընթացքում և որոնք ամբողջությամբ իրենց դերակատարությունն ունեն նաև այսօր: Մեր երկրները միմյանց հետ կապված են աչքի, են ընկնում մարդկային շատ սերտ  հարաբերություններով: Դեռ չասեմ տնտեսական կապերի մասին»,- նշեց Կոպիրկինը՝ համոզմունք հայտնելով, որ հայ-ռուսական հարաբերություններն այնպիսին են, որը հնարավոր չէ շրջանցել ու անտեսել:

ՌԴ դեսպանն իր խոսքում կարևորեց հայ ժողովրդի կողմից հետպատերազմյա սթրեսի հաղթահարումը: «Մենք մեծ նշանակություն ենք տալիս նրան, որ Հայաստանի բնակչությունը հնարավորինս արագ հաղթահարի հետպատերազմյա սթրեսը, իրեն զգա անվտանգ, ինչի ապահովման գործում կարևոր դերակատարություն ունի նաև ռուսաստանյան ռազմաբազան»,-եզրափակեց Կոպիրկինը:
