Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը շնորհավորական ուղերձ է հղել Հանրապետության տոնի առթիվ․

«Սիրելի հայրենակիցներ,

շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս Հանրապետության տոնի կապակցությամբ:

Այս տոնն անկախության և ազատության համար մարտնչելու մեր ժողովրդի աննկուն կամքի խորհրդանիշն է։ Այն մարմնավորում է անկախ պետականություն ունենալու մեր ժողովրդի դարավոր ձգտումը։

1918 թվականի այս օրերին մեր ժողովուրդն օրհասական վտանգի առջև էր կանգնած։ Թվում էր, թե անխուսափելի է կործանումը։ Թվում էր, թե մենք վերջնականորեն կորցնելու ենք մեր հայրենի հողի վրա պետություն ստեղծելու և մեր բնօրրանում ապրելու իրավունքից։ Սակայն ժողովրդի ուժերի գերլարումով, Արամ Մանուկյանի ոգու և կամքի առաջնորդությամբ հայությունը կարողացավ կանգնեցնել թշնամու գրոհը և Սարդարապատի, Բաշ-Ապարանի ու Ղարաքիլիսայի հերոսական մարտերում մեկընդմիշտ հաստատել ինքնիշխան պետություն ունենալու իր անքակտելի իրավունքը:

Սիրելի հայրենակիցներ,

Սարդարապատի, Բաշ-Ապարանի ու Ղարաքիլիսայի հերոսները՝ Արամ Մանուկյանը, Թովմաս Նազարբեկյանը, Մովսես Սիլիկյանը, Դրոն, Նժդեհը, Դանիել ու Պողոս Բեկ-Փիրումյանները, եզդիական հեծյալ ջոկատի հրամանատար Ջհանգիր աղան, ողջ հայկական բանակն ու աշխարհազորայինները, զենքը ձեռքին կռվող հոգևորականները դարձան Հայաստանի անկախության կերտողները:

Այսօրվա Արամ Մանուկյանը, Թովմաս Նազարբեկյանը, Մովսես Սիլիկյանը, Դրոն ու մյուս հերոսները մեր սահմանապահ գյուղերի բոլոր բնակիչներն են, ովքեր առանց վարանելու ամուր կանգնած են իրենց հողի և ջրի վրա:

Դժվար պահերին հայ ժողովուրդը մշտապես կարողացել է համախմբվել, լինել մի բռունցք, բոլոր ուժերն ուղղել հանուն պաշտպանության, հանուն ինքնիշխանության և պետականության:

Համոզված եմ, այսօր էլ պետք է գործենք նույն ոգով, Երևանից մինչև սահմանապահ գյուղեր լինենք որպես մեկ ընտանիք՝ ի շահ մեր սիրելի Հայրենիքի անվտանգության ապահովման:

Մենք մեր սթափ ու հավասարակշիռ որոշումներով, հաստատակամությամբ կանգնած ենք և կանգնելու ենք մեր պետության, ինքնիշխանության, անկախության դիրքերում և թույլ չենք տալու թշնամուն հասնել իր նպատակներին:

Մեր սուվերենությունն ու անկախությունը քննարկման առարկա լինել չեն կարող: Եվ ինչպես Արամ Մանուկյանն էր 1918-ի հուսահատության օրերին ասում՝ «Դեպի գործ և աշխատանք, ու հաղթողը մենք ենք լինելու»:

Ստեղծված իրավիճակի հանգուցալուծումն այսօրվա մեր առաջնային խնդիրն է, որից հետո, անկասկած, հայ ժողովուրդը քայլելու է մեր երազանքների Հայաստանի կերտման ճանապարհով:
Ուստի միասին դեպի գործ և աշխատանք»:
