Վաշինգտոնում հունվարի 6-ին տեղի ունեցած անկարգությունների հետևանքով ԱՄՆ-ի Կապիտոլիումին վնաս է հասցվել առնվազն 1,5 մլն դոլար գումարի չափով: Այդ մասին դատախազ Մոնա Սեդքին հայտարարել է դատաքննության ժամանակ, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Մեղադրող կողմը հունիսի 2-ին տեղի ունեցած դատական նիստի ընթացքում առաջին անգամ հնչեցրել Է գրոհի մասնակիցների կողմից հասցված վնասի գումարի իր գնահատումը: Դա կարեւոր Է, քանի որ դատախազները մտադիր են վնասի մի մասը մեղադրյալներից բռնագանձել հետաքննության հետ գործարքի շրջանակներում, պարզաբանում Է The Washington Post-ը: Թերթի տվյալներով՝ մեղադրանքներն անկարգություններից հետո առաջադրվել են մոտավորապես 450 մարդու: Նրանցից կեսին առաջադրվել են մանր իրավախախտումների մեջ մեղադրանքներ, այնպես որ նրանք, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կկարողանան խուսափել բանտարկությունից: Եվս ավելի քան 200 մարդ մեղադրվում Է Կոնգրեսի աշխատանքին խոչընդոտելու եւ քվեատուների քվեարկության արդյունքները հաստատելուն կոնգրեսականներին խանգարելու մտադրության մեջ: Ինչպես նշվում Է, դրա համար մեղադրյալներին սպառնում Է մինչեւ 20 տարվա բանտարկություն:

Հունվարի 6-ին Դոնալդ Թրամփի կողմնակիցները ներխուժել են Վաշինգտոնում Կոնգրեսի շենք. անկարգությունների արդյունքում առնվազն հինգ մարդ Է զոհվել: Այդ իրադարձություններից մի քանի ժամ առաջ Թրամփը դիմել Է ցուցարարներին, որոնք հավաքվել Էին Վաշինգտոնում, կրկին հայտարարելով, որ չի ճանաչում իր պարտությունն ընտրություններում:

Նրա պնդմամբ Ջո Բայդենը միայն հաղթանակ Է տարել մի շարք նահանգների ընտրատեղամասերում զանգվածային մեքենայութունների շնորհիվ: Նաեւ նա կողմնակիցներին կոչ Է արել չդադարեցնել պայքարը եւ կոնգրեսականներին հասցնել իրենց վրդովմունքը: Կապիտոլիումում կոնգրեսականներն այդ պահին զբաղված Էին քվեատուների կոլեգիայի քվեարկության արդյունքների հաստատմամբ, որոնց համաձայն, նախագահական ընտրությունների հաղթող Էր դարձել Ջո Բայդենը: Կոնգրեսի նիստը ընդհատվել Է, կոնգրեսականների մի մասը տարհանվել Է: Երբ Կապիտոլիումում հաջողվել Է վերականգնել կարգուկանոնը, ԱՄՆ-ի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը եւ Սենատը հաստատել են Բայդենի հաղթանակը, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
