Հունիսի 3-ին Հայաստանում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Սերգեյ Կոպիրկինը ՀՀ Սյունիքի մարզ կատարած ուղևորության շրջանակում այցելել է Հայաստանում Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության անվտանգության դաշնային ծառայության սահմանապահ վարչության Մեղրիի ջոկատ, ծանոթացել ծառայության պայմաններին և հարգանքի տուրք մատուցել Հայաստանում տարբեր տարիներին զոհված հերոս-սահմանապահների հիշատակին։

Ռուսաստանի դիվանագիտական առաքելության ղեկավարն այցելել է Ռուսաստանի սահմանապահների կողմից պաշտպանվող Հայաստանի ամենահարավային կետ՝ երեք երկրների սահմանների՝ Հայաստանի, Իրանի և Ադրբեջանի հանգույց, եղել է Կարճևանի անցակետում, ինչպես նաև հանդիպել Մեղրի համայնքի ղեկավար Մխիթար Զաքարյանի հետ:
ՀՀ-ում ՌԴ դեսպանն այցելել է նաև «Ագարակի պղնձամոլիբդենային կոմբինատ» ՓԲԸ, որը քաղաքաստեղծ ձեռնարկություն է և համարվում է շրջանի խոշորագույն հարկատուներից ու գործատուներից մեկը:
ՓԲԸ-ի տնօրեն Անդրեյ Սինյակովը, ներկայացնելով ձեռնարկության ընթացիկ գործունեությունը, զեկուցել է ընթացիկ բնապահպանական միջոցառումների և հունիսի վերջին գործարանի՝ ջրի սպառման ամբողջովին փակ ցիկլին վաղաժամկետ անցման մասին, որը գործնականում վերացնում է շրջակա միջավայրի վրա բացասական ազդեցությունը։
Բացի այդ, ձեռնարկության ղեկավարը տեղեկացրել է նաև մարզի սոցիալ-տնտեսական զարգացմանը և սոցիալական նշանակություն ունեցող ծրագրերի իրականացմանը ցուցաբերվող օժանդակության մասին:
