Երեկ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հերթական անհավասարակշիռ արտահայտությունն արեց, թե պատրաստ է իր որդուն՝ Աշոտ Փաշինյանին փոխել Ադրբեջանում պահվող հայ ռազմագերիների հետ․

«Ալիևին պաշտոնապես ասում եմ՝ որդուս տալիս եմ բոլոր գերիների դիմաց»,- հայտարարեց Փաշինյանը:

Դիմելով Հայաստանի երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանին և երրորդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանին՝ նա նշեց, որ լիազորում է իրենց բանակցել այդ թեմայով: «Հանկարծ չմտածեք էմոցիոնալ բան եմ ասում: Ասում եմ պաշտոնապես: Գնացեք, բանակցեք»,- ասաց Փաշինյանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ սպասում է նրանց պատասխանին: 

Մեզ հավաստի տեղեկություններ են հասել, որ Փաշինյանի այս հայտարարությունը գազազեցրել է Ալիևին, մասնավորապես, որ նա կիսահարբած վիճակում պաշտոնապես նման առաջարկներ է անում իրեն, Ալիևն իր մոտ է կանչել Ադրբեջանի անվտանգության պետական ծառայության ղեկավար Ալի Նագիևին և հանձնարարել օպերատիվ կապի միջոցով հայկական կողմին փոխանցել հետևյալը, որ «գարեջուր վաճառողի փոխարեն ինքը պատրաստ է հայկական կողմին հանձնել 2 թոփալ ոչխար, իսկ Աննա Հակոբյանի փոխարեն 1 էգ էշ»։ Տեղեկությունը մեկնաբանելու համար կապվեցինք գնդապետ Բորիս Ավագյանի հետ, նա ասաց, որ ինքն էլ ունի նման ինֆորմացիա։ 

Մեզ ասացին նաև, որ երեկ Ռուստամ Մուրադովը մեծ դժվարությամբ է կարողացել հետ բերել գերեվարված մեր զինծառայողին, քանի որ Փաշինյանի այս կիսահարբած վիճակում արած հայտարարությունը սաստիկ կատաղեցրել է Ալիևին։
