В четверг официальный представитель МИД РФ Мария Захарова и генеральный продюсер "Матч ТВ" Тина Канделаки сообщили, что обозревателя аккредитовали на ЕВРО-2020.

 Российский журналист и спортивный комментатор Нобель Арустамян не получил аккредитацию для работы на матчах ЕВРО-2020, которые будут проходить в Азербайджане. Работать в Баку обозреватель поехать не сможет. Об этом РИА Новости сообщил дипломатический источник, знакомый с ситуацией.

 

"Арустамян на игры в Баку аккредитацию не получил. В Азербайджан он приехать не сможет", — сообщил собеседник агентства.

Утром в четверг официальный представитель МИД РФ Мария Захарова и генеральный продюсер "Матч ТВ" Тина Канделаки сообщили, что проблему удалось уладить при поддержке УЕФА и Арустамяна в конечном итоге аккредитовали.

Скандал разгорелся два дня назад, когда блогер Василий Уткин сообщил в своем Telegram-канале, что Арустамян не получил аккредитацию на работу во время чемпионата Европы по футболу из-за отказа оргкомитета Баку. Исполнительный вице-президент Ассоциации футбольных федераций Азербайджана Эльхан Мамедов связал отказ в аккредитации Арустамяну с его "поездками на оккупированные азербайджанские земли" - речь идет о Нагорном Карабахе.

ЕВРО-2020 стартует 11 июня, матчи турнира пройдут на аренах 11 городов Европы, в том числе в Санкт-Петербурге.
