Նախընտրական շրջանում աղմուկն ուժգնանում է՝ ծրագրեր, խոստումներ, ականջ ու աչք շոյող պատմություններ, ճգնաժամի հաղթահարման հազար ու մի առաջարկներ։ Եւ հենց այս պատկերայնության մեջ ամենադժվար գործը ՀՀ քաղաքացունն է, որի որոշիչ ձայնից է կախված երկրի հետագա ընթացքի ուղղությունը։ Հայ ժողովրդի համար բավականին բարդ ու խրթին խաչմերուկ է․ խաղասեղանին հայրենիքն է, պետությունն ու մեր սերունդների ապագան։

Իրավիճակն օրհասական է, և մենք այս անգամ արդեն սխալվելու իրավունք չունենք։ Հարկավոր է քաղաքական այնպիսի միավոր, որը չի շարունակում ոչ նախկինների, ոչ ներկաների գործը, որը չի սպասարկում ոչ նախկինների, ոչ ներկաների շահերը, այլ առաջարկում է սեփական ճանապարհը, սեփական ծրագիրը, ելքի սեփական բանաձևը։

Մեր տունը Հայաստանն է։ Այս այլընտրանքային ուժի միասնական ցուցակի համարը քվեաթերթիկում 10-ն է։ Ուժի ձևավորվման հիմքում կանգնած է մեծ բարերար, Ռուսաստանի հայերի միության նախագահ Արա Աբրամյանը, ով բազմից ապացուցել է, որ հայրենիքի ու հայ ժողովրդի կողքին է ցանկացած ժամանակ, Հայաստանում և սփյուռքում։

Նա, ապրելով և գործունեություն ծավալելով Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում, մշտապես մտահոգված է եղել Հայաստանի խնդիրներով և դրանց լուծման ուղղությամբ մեծ աշխատանքներ է կատարել։

Արա Աբրամյանի քաղաքական առաջարկի հիմնական խարիսխը միասնության կոչն է․ նա վստահ է, որ համախմբվածությունն է լինելու հայ ժողովրդի փրկօղակը։
