Հայաստանը կշարունակի լավ հարաբերություններ պահպանել Ռուսաստանի հետ՝ անկախ ընտրությունների վերջնական արդյունքներից: ՏԱՍՍ-ի հետ զրույցում նման տեսակետ հայտնել է ՌԴ Դաշնային խորհրդի միջազգային հարցերի հանձնաժողովի նախագահի առաջին տեղակալ Վլադիմիր Ջաբարովը:
Նրա խոսքերով, Ռուսաստանը Հայաստանի ռազմավարական գործընկերն է, հայ ժողովուրդը գիտի, որ ռուսները հավատարիմ ու հուսալի ընկեր են և ամենամտերիմը Հայաստանին:
Ռուսաստանցի պաշտոնյան նշել է՝ կարևոր է, որ Հայաստանում հանգստություն պահպանվի, կայունություն լինի, որպեսզի քաղաքական հակասությունները չտեղափոխվեն փողոց:
Նա հիշեցրել է Բելառուսի դեպքերի մասին՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ Հայաստանում ամեն ինչ կլինի դեմոկրատիայի սկզբունքների համաձայն:
Ջաբարովը հավելել է, որ Ռուսաստանի համար կարևոր է, որպեսզի Հայաստանը մնա հավատարիմ դաշնակից ՀԱՊԿ-ում, ԵԱՏՄ-ում. «Կարևոր է, որ Հայաստանը նոյեմբերի իրադարձություններից հետո զբաղվի իր տնտեսության իրական վերականգնմամբ: Կարծում եմ, որ այդ մասով մենք կողջունենք Հայաստանի ղեկավարության ցանկացած խաղաղ նախաձեռնություն»:
