Փորձագետների մեծ մասի համոզմամբ, ՀՀ-ում սպասվում են բազմաթիվ ճգնաժամեր՝ կապված թե՛ տնտեսության, թե՛ սոցիալական վիճակի հետ: Եվ առաջին հերթին սպասվում են մեծ խնդիրներ արտաքին քաղաքականության ոլորտում: Նման կարծիք ունի նաև քաղաքագետ Գագիկ Համբարյանը: Նրա խոսքով, մեզ դեռ դժվար ժամանակներ են սպասվում:

«Թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմը մինչև ընտրությունները ձայն չէր հանում՝ սպասելով ընտրություններում Նիկոլի հաղթանակին: Եվ հիմա՝ հաղթանակ տանելուց հետո, Նիկոլն իր բոլոր բանավոր համաձայնությունները պետք է ի կատար ածի, թեպետ դրանք ոչ թե համաձայնություն, այլ Բաքվի ու Անկարայի համատեղ պարտադրանքներն են նրան, որոնք հակասում են մեր ազգային ու պետական շահերին: Թուրքիայի հետ սահմանները բացելու, թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմի հետ եղբայրություն անելու Փաշինյանի բոլոր փորձերը ջուրծեծոցի են, դեմագոգիա: Այդ տանդեմը Հայաստանի ու հայ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ «չկա հայ, չկա հայկական հարց» կարգախոսով է առաջնորդվում: Հայաստանը նրանց թշնամին է:

Փաշինյանի կապիտուլ յացիոն թեզերը ուղղակի կործանարար են մեր երկրի համար՝ հատկապես Ադրբեջանում տարվող թեզերի համատեքստում»,- «Փաստի» հետ զրույցում ասաց քաղաքագետը: Ռազմական փորձագետ Հայկ Նահապետյանն էլ իր հերթին նշեց. «Ես սկզբունքորեն չեմ բացառում, որ ի վնաս ՀՀ ազգային պետական շահերի, Փաշինյանի վարչակազմը կփորձի Թուրքիայի ու Ադրբեջանի որոշ պահանջներ ևս կատարել, կարող է փորձել զիջել մեր շահերը Թուրքիային և Ադրբեջանին՝ տարածաշրջանում ակնկալելով բարեկեցություն, խաղաղություն և համագործակցություն, որը բնավ չի լինելու»:
