Eվրոպական խաղերում Հայաստանի պատվիրակության մամուլի քարտուղար Կարեն Գիլոյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.
«Հայաստանի հավաքականն ավարտեց իր ելույթը Առաջին Եվրոպական Ամառային խաղերում: 25 մարզիկից բաղկացած մեր թիմը պատվախնդիր ելույթ ունեցավ: Ի պատիվ հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբիշ Միհրան Հարությունյանի Բաքվում ծածանվեց Հայոց եռագույնը: Մեր ըմբիշը նվաճեց արծաթե մեդալ: Պատվո հարթակից ընդամենը 1 քայլ հեռու մնացին հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբիշներ Ռոման Ամոյանն ու Մաքսիմ Մանուկյանը, ազատ ոճի ըմբիշ Լեվան Բերիանիձեն, սամբիստներ Սոսե Բալասանյանը, Տիգրան Կիրակոսյանն ու Աշոտ Դանիելյանը: Նրանք գրավեցին 5-րդ տեղը: Միայն գովեստի խոսքեր պետք է ասել 5-րդ տեղը գրաված հրաձիգ Հրաչիկ Բաբայանի հասցեին: 18-ամյա մարզիկը սահմանեց Եվրոպայի երիտասարդական ռեկորդ, հաղթեց որակավորման փուլում, առաջին տեղով մտավ եզրափակիչ ու միայն 14-րդ կրակոցի ժամանակ վրիպելով' ամենաուժեղների պայքարում գրավեց 5-րդ տեղը: Լավ ելույթ ունեցան մեր բռնցքամարտիկներն ու թեքվանդիստը:
Մեր հավաքականն այս խաղերի ընթացքում իրեն դրսևորեց որպես մի համերաշխ թիմ: Որևէ տհաճ միջադեպ տեղի չունեցավ: Խաղերի մեկնելուց առաջ մենք գիտակցում էինք, թե ուր ենք մեկնում: Հասկանում էինք մեր քայլի լրջությունը: Այսօր պիտի փաստենք, որ շնորհիվ մեր մարզիկների' Հայաստանը պատվով ներկայացավ Եվրոպական ընտանիքում: Մենք վերադառնում ենք բարձր գլխով և մեր առաքելությունը կատարած:
