Կորոնավիրուսն սկսել է «նորովի՞» վարակել մարդկանց

SARS-CoV-2 կորոնավիրուսը թափանցում է մարդկային բջիջներ անգիոտենզինի՝ ACE2-ի վերածող ֆերմենտի շնորհիվ։ Սակայն վիրուսը, պարզվում է, կարող է գտնել բջիջները վարակելու այլընտրանքային միջոց, անգամ եթե այդ բջիջներում ACE2 չկա։ Այս մասին տեղեկացնում են Վաշինգտոնի Սենթ Լուիսի համալսարանի եւ ԱՄՆ այլ գիտական կազմակերպությունների գիտնականները, հաղորդում է Phys.org-ը։

Հետազոտության ընթացքում, որի արդյունքները հրապարակվել են Cell Reports ամսագրում, գիտնականները փորձարկել են թոքերի եւ վերին շնչուղիների տարբեր քաղցկեղային բջիջները SARS-CoV-2 կորոնավիրուսի հանդեպ ACE2 էքսպրեսիայի տարբեր մակարդակներում։ Պարզվել է, որ մարդու ադենոկարցինոմայի H522 բջիջները, որոնցում բացակայում է ACE2-ը, ընկալունակ են կորոնավիրուսի մուտանտ ձեւի հանդեպ։ Բջիջ թափանցելու համար SARS-CoV-2-ը սովորաբար օգտագործում է ստանդարտ S սպիտակուց, որը փոխգործակցում է ACE2-ի հետ, բայց այս դեպքում վիրուսի մուտանտ ձեւի S-սպիտակուցը փոփոխվել է (այս նոր մուտացիան նշվում է որպես E484D S տարբերակ)։ Կորոնավիրուսի դասական վայրի տեսակը չի կարող վարակել H522 բջիջները։

Հետաքրքիր է, որ չնայած մուտացիային, E484D S կորոնավիրուսը ընկալունակ է մնում հակամարմինների հանդեպ պատվաստված պացիենտների արյան շիճուկում, բայց եւ արդեն հիվանդացած մարդկանց արյան շիճուկը պակաս արդյունավետ էր։ Չնայած ռեցեպտորը, որի հետ կապվում է S-սպիտակուցը, մնում է անհայտ, գիտնականները հայտնաբերել են, որ վարակը արգելափակվում է, եթե բջջում նկատվում է գեպարանսուլֆատների պակաս՝ սպիտակուցներ պոլիսախարիդային մնացորդներով, որոնք գտնվում են բջջային մեմբրանի մոտ եւ, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, կապված են անհայտ ռեցեպտորի հետ։
