Խորհրդային Միության ամենահաջող արտադրանքներից մեկը եղել է «Պոբեդա» ձեռքի ժամացույցը: Մինչ այն արտադրելը ԽՍՀՄ-ում ժամացույցի արդյունաբերությունը թերզարգացած է եղել, և հիմնականում վաճառվել են արտասահմանյան ժամացույցներ, որոնք բնակչության գրպանի համար հասանելի չեն եղել: Բայց ամեն ինչ փոխվել է «Պոբեդա»-ի շնորհիվ: Պատերազմի ավարտից հետո 1945 թվականին զինվորների հոսքը երկիր բերել է բազմաթիվ ռազմավար իրեր, ներառյալ ձեռքի ժամացույցներ: Քանի որ դրանք եղել են դասակարգային թշնամու ստեղծած, ամենաբարձր մակարդակում որոշում է կայացվել սկսել ձեռքի էժանագին ժամացույցների սեփական արտադրություն: Այդ պահից էլ հենց սկսվել է «Պոբեդա» խորհրդային ժամացույցի պատմությունը: 1946 թվականի մայիսի 9-ին՝ Մեծ հաղթանակի առաջին տարեդարձին է նվիրված եղել «Հաղթանակ» կոչվող այդ առաջին մոդելի ստեղծումը:

Դա շատ նշանակալից իրադարձություն էր, քանի որ անգամ նոր ժամացույցի դիզայնը հաստատել էր ինքը՝ Ստալինը: Ապրանքը շատ որակյալ է ստացվել: Այնուամենայնիվ, այդ ժամացույցի մեջ միայն դիզայնն է եղել խորհրդային: Բոլոր ներքին մեխանիզմները վերցվել են ֆրանսիական արտադրության «R-26» ժամացույցից: Դրանք պատրաստվել են «LIP» ընկերության կողմից: Այդ ընտրությունը պատահական չի եղել, քանի որ այդ ընկերությունը մինչ Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմի մեկնարկը մասնակցել էր Պեմզայում ժամացույցի գործարանի կառուցմանը: Այնուամենայնիվ, այդ գործարանը սկսել է գործել միայն պատերազմից հետո, և հենց այնտեղ է հիմնադրվել «Պոբեդա» ժամացույցների արտադրությունը: Ժամացույցի մեխանիզմը ունեցել է 15 ռուբինե քարեր, ինչը ապահովել է նրա անխափան աշխատանքը: Կատարվել է նաև արտադրության երկրորդ շատ կարևոր պայմանը, այն է՝ արտադրանքի ինքնարժեքի մատչելի լինելը երկրի հասարակ քաղաքացիների համար: Ժամացույցը ստացվել է էժան և վաճառվել է ուղիղ 27 ռուբլով, ինչը այդ ժամանակ ընդունելի էր:

Մոտ 60 տարի է արտադրվել «Պոբեդա» ձեռքի ժամացույցը: Քիչ ժամացույցներ ունեն այդքան երկար արտադրության ժամանակ: Չնայած այն հանգամանքին, որ ժամացույցների մշակումն իրականացվում էր Պեմզայի մասնագետների կողմից, բայց «Պոբեդա» ժամացույցները սկսել են արդյունաբերական մասշտաբով արտադրել այլ վայրում: Դա եղել է Մոսկվայի ժամացույցների առաջին գործարանը, բայց հետո արտադրությունը այդ գործարանից 1951 թվականին տեղափոխվել է ԶԻՄ գործարան, որը գտնվել է Սամարայում: Սամարայում «Պոբեդա» ձեռքի ժամացույցներ արտադրել են մինչև 2002 թվականը: Տարվա ընթացքում արտադրվել է ավելի քան 2,5 միլիոն օրինակ: Այս պահին այդ գործարանն այլևս գոյություն չունի: Երկար տարիներ «Պոբեդա» ձեռքի ժամացույցը ԽՍՀՄ-ում եղել է ամենաշատ նվիրվող իրը, դրանք, որպես պարգևատրում, տրվել են աշխատանքի վետերաններին, ԽՍՀՄ մրցույթների հաղթողներին, ինչպես նաև արտադրության առաջատար աշխատողներին և այլն: Խորհրդային Միությունում այն համարվել է նաև ազգային ապրանքանիշ:

Վարշավյան դաշնագրի երկրների խնդրանքով 1985 թվականին իրականացվել է այդ ժամացույցների վերջին մասշտաբային արտադրությունը, որն արտահանվել է: Ներկայումս «Պոբեդա» ապրանքանիշի ձեռքի ժամացույցներն արդեն համարվում են կոլեկցիոն իրեր: Բանն այն է, որ արտադրվել են այդ ժամացույցների տարատեսակներ, և ներկայումս կոլեկցիոներները փորձում են իրենց հավաքածուներում ունենալ այդ ժամացույցների բոլոր տեսակները:
