«Հայրենիք» կուսակցության նախագահ Արթուր Վանեցյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է՝
Երբ 18-րդ դարում հեռավոր Հնդկաստանում մի խումբ հայ ազգային և մտավորական գործիչներ նախագծում էին աշխարհի քաղաքական քարտեզի վրա այդ պահին գոյություն չունեցող Հայաստան պետության սահմանադրությունը, որևէ մեկը չէր կարող մտածել, որ 21-րդ դարում արդեն մոտ 30 տարի անկախ պետականության ավանդույթով Հայաստանում սահմանադրությունը կլինի թիրախավորված և վտանգված հենց օրվա իշխանությունների կողմից։
Այո՛, այսօր մենք, ցավալիորեն, ապրում ենք մի ժամանակաշրջանում, երբ «երկաթե մուրճն» ու «պողպատե մանդատը» վեր են սահմանադրությունից, և դրանց թափահարումներով պարբերաբար փորձ է կատարվում ոտնահարելու և վտանգելու Հայաստանի Հանրապետության մայր օրենքը՝ նպատակ ունենալով մեր երկրում ձևավորել ոչ թե օրենքին, այլ մեկ անձի քմահաճույքներին ենթակա իշխանություն՝ «մուրճով անձի» շինծու բռնապետություն։
Ակնհայտ է, որ այսօրվա Հայաստանի զարգացումը հնարավոր է բացառապես սահմանադրության և օրենքների անվերապահ պահպանման, ներքին համերաշխության և համախմբող գաղափարների առկայության դեպքում։
Հայաստանի յուրաքանչյուր քաղաքացու վճռականության ու կամքի շնորհիվ են պահպանվելու երկրի կայունությունը և սահմանադրական հիմքերը, և մերժվելու՝ միանձնյա կառավարման բոլոր արկածախնդիր փորձերը։
Սահմանադրությունը Հայաստանի մերօրյա պետականության կարևորագույն սյուներից մեկն է, ինչից բնականորեն բխում է, որ դրա ոտնահարումների դեմ վճռական պայքարը պայքար է հենց Հայաստանի պետականության համար։
Եվ այդ պայքարի բովում մենք իրավունք չունենք հուսալքվելու, վհատվելու կամ հանձնվելու՝ ոչ մի դեպքում, ոչ մի ճնշման կամ հետապնդման պայմաններում, ոչ մի գայթակղության կամ մոլորեցման պարագայում։ Հետևաբար սահմանադրական պայքարը լինելու է անտրտունջ, վստահ, արժանապատիվ և, ի վերջո,հաղթական։
Մեր այս համոզմունքն անշրջելի է. նույնիսկ շտկումների կարիք ունեցող սահմանադրությունն անհամեմատ ավելի լավ է, քան հակասահմանադրական քաոսը և դրանից անհուսորեն ծնվել ցանկացող բռնատիրությունը։
Ուստի, շնորհավորելով մեր ժողովրդին Սահմանադրության օրվա առթիվ՝ կրկին վստահեցնում եմ՝ Հայաստանի պետականության համար մեր պայքարը շարունակական է, իսկ վերածննդի ուղով ընթանալիք Հայաստանի մեր տեսլականը՝ անսասան:
