Այսօր ՊԲ հրետանային զորատեսակի հիմնադիրներից մեկի, Արցախի հերոս, գեներալ մայոր Ժորա Գասպարյանի ծննդյան օրն է...
Նախքան 44-օրյա պատերազմը, երբ պատրաստում էի «Գեներալները» պայմանական վերտառությամբ աշխատությունը, նրան վերաբերող գլխում գրել էի նաև հետևյալը.
«... Զորացրվելուց հետո՝ Ակնայի մերձակայքում վարձակալելով մի փոքրիկ հողակտոր, պաշտոնաթող գեներալը սկսեց զբաղվել այգեգործությամբ: Հիմնեց նռան այգի և հոգատար մշակի խնամքով տարածքը դարձրեց օազիս: Հասցրեց նաև ծննդավայր Զարդախաչում վերակառուցել ադրբեջանցիների կողմից հիմնովին ավերված հայրական տունը, գյուղամիջում կառուցեց Մեծ հայրենականում և Արցախյան ազատամարտում նահատակված համագյուղացիների հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշահամալիր...
Այս ամենին զուգահեռ զորավարը չի մոռանում նաև, հարկ եղած դեպքում, ձեռք մեկնել զոհված մարտընկերների ընտանիքներին՝ հնարավորության սահմանում նրանց ցուցաբերելով նյութական օժանդակություն... Եվ, որ կարևոր է, այս ու էլի շատ բարի գործեր նա անում է հոգով ու հավատով՝ համոզված լինելով, որ իր կատարածով շարունակում է հզորացնել Երկիրն ու ժողովուրդը, իսկ այդ կերպ նաև՝ վստահությունը ապագա հաղթանակների հանդեպ...»:
