INTERNATIONAL NEWSԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը, իր ռուս գործընկեր Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ հանդիպմանը, խնդրել է նրան «հեռու մնալ» Պետդեպարտամենտի կողմից ֆինանսավորվող «Ազատություն» ռադիոյից: Այս մասին ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը խոսել է Ռուսաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության վերաբերյալ վեբինարում:
«Ոչ ոք ընդհանրապես չէր հիշում այդ մասին: Եվ հենց մենք վերցրեցինք աշխարհի առաջատար ժողովրդավարության փորձը, անմիջապես մեղադրանքներ հնչեցին մեր հասցեին, որ մենք սկսում ենք սեղմել օղակն ընդդիմություն շուրջ, մենք սկսում ենք արհեստականորեն պիտակներ կպցնել»,-ասել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ղեկավարը:
Լավրովը հիշեցրել է, որ Ռուսաստանը երբեք առաջինը չի սկսում գործողություններ՝ ուղղված դիմակայության միտումների ամրապնդմանը: Սակայն Russia Today-ը և Sputnik-ը ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից հայտարարվել են օտարերկրյա գործակալներ:
Եվ նրանք, օրինապաշտ լրատվամիջոցների նման, երբ հեռարձակում են, ԱՄՆ-ի օրենսդրությամբ իրենց ներկայացնում են որպես օտարերկրյա գործակալ: Ռուսաստանը, նրա խոսքով, պարզապես որդեգրել է բացարձակ հայելային մոտեցում:
